PastYearTax reviews and complaints

I was in a hurry, looking online for a tax preparation website which did not ask for me to photocopy and upload my Identification Documents, such as drivers license and passport, since I was unsuccessful having those accepted by TurboTax online.

I found one called "PastYearTax" that appeared to be a legitimate tax service and decided to get started filing my 2020 return. I had already prepared it and filed in on time, but since I am still awaiting my refund, about a year later, thought this would speed up the refund process. After inputting all of my information and paying the $124.97, I first noticed - as the first red flag - there was no customer service number on their website. I checked my email and did not their promised email with my complete tax return attached. Next I went to my credit union account online and noticed their charge posted, $124.97, but the vendor name was "HB Soft Inc Farming", Not "PastYearTax" at all! Next to that name was "(Expires 4/17/2022)". I believe I was completely scammed by someone who has created this fake company and just stole my money.
