Nextdc Limited reviews and complaints

I was contacted by Micheal Helmer by text message. He stated that they (NEXTDC Limited) had reviewed my Resume (I am currently looking for employment) and would like to set up an interview. I responded because I was courious. He set up an online interview through "Hangouts" with me. After going through the interview he responded that they had decided to hire me. He then told me he was going to send me a check to cover my sign on bonus ($50) and a check to be deposited in my account to purchase o lot of office equipment (thousands of dollars) they were going to provide. I was to deposit these funds in my account and purchase the equipment from there supplier to be delived to my home. I just felt like this was a scam or money laundering. After they sent me a contract of employment which didn't look very official at all. I told him I was declining there offer. He inquired as to why and I told him I was not comfortable receiving funds for the equipment and that I would prefer they purchace the equipment directly. He had nothing else to say. I have the text, Hangout message and the contract they sent if needed. The phone number used to text me is tied to Global Crossing Local Services Inc.
