LDR Holistic Addiction Wellness Centre reviews and complaints

I have been the assistant to the owner of LDR Holistic Addiction Treatment program for 10 years. I am not a disgruntled employee but I have seen too many unethical things to just stand by. Jason Spies the owner is a con artist. He charges 15, 000 for treatment and keeps 50% of that money deposited into his personal bank account. He has bought cars, boats, and many other toys at the expense of others. He acquired a nice office space for him and his staff but the treatment centre is disgusting. If you are considering treatment at Ldr demand to see the Men's House. I am a grateful and sober member of AA and it's a disgrace that he charges 15k for what is free at any AA meeting. This con artist should be arrested or at the very least investigated by Revenue.Canada. Your family member is not safe at Ldr. Just ask for a breakdown of your15k. There is no kitchen staff no housekeeping. The men cook and clean themselves. There is plenty of staff of the Web site but only one staff member John who has zero counselling credentials just runs one long check in day after day. Your money is totally wasted here
here. I suggest Sunshine Coast Health Centre or The Orchard in Bc or Addiction Canada in Ontario. All 3 of these options are reputable treatment solutions.

Jason Spies the owner LDR Holistic is a great salesman but nothing he sells is true. Don't take my word for it. When you bring this post up he will probably just say I'm some disgruntled client. Well ask him if he is CARF certified. He is not and you should be scared. CARF asks he review treatment centre financial books and he refuses because he's running a scam. There is nothing unique about this program you can't get for free from an AA meeting and all that 1 on 1 time is with a support worker paid $9 an hour with zero credentials. All those faces you see on their staff page. You never meet with them.The food is absolutely disgusting and for $16.000 you would expect them.to have kitchen staff. Nope. I had to.cook my own food. If you want a better private treatment centre for that money go with Sunshine Coast Health Centre or The Orchard. LDR Holistic is a ### hole and don't be fooled by their fancy office. Ask to he taken to the Men's House. You'll be in shock at the conditions your money is paying for.

There is nothing holistic about Ldr. It's run by a group of fat out of shape members of AA that use what you can get for free at AA meetings charge 16, 000 and call it holistic. This was the worst treatment experience of my life. I've been to government run programs and they are way better than Ldr. Their office is nice but it's just a front as soon as you pay you get whisked away in a broken down blue cargo van and dropped off at some ### hole in the woods. The house is broken down and the food is disgusting. There is nothing nutritious about this food at all. Then you have the owner who drives around in fancy cars and motorbikes and doesn't invest in the program at all but rather asks for donations from the public. It's disgusting that this place is allowed to run. Do not go to Ldr under any circumstance. You have been warned.
