Grant Master Charged $38.34 without aouthorization

I originally had purchased an Internet Profit Gene CD for $1.95. I never received the CD and later was charged twice totalling $150.00. I called to complaint about the charges and at first they gave me a hard time because they said that I had agree to the terms. I made it very clear to them that I had not agreed to anything and I told them that I was not getting off the phone until I got my refund and a cancellation confirmation number. I gave them a really hard time and told them to give me back my money. Finally after arguing with them for about 2hrs., they gave me the refund and a cancellation confirmation number. Three weeks later, I see that my account was charged $38.34 from some GRANT MASTER. I called them and ofcurse, they said that because I had signed up for the INTERNET PROFIT GENE, that I still had an account open. I went off and gave them the previous confirmation number and all the representative could said was "I apologize for the situation" I am not going to write what I told them but you can just imagine! Once again I received another confirmation for my cancellation. The best thing to do is to call your bank and cancell your debit card and have them send you a new one so they can no longer charge anything (I did), or if you used a credit card, ask the company to issue a new one with a different number. Besides the phone number they provided on my statement which is [protected], I was able to search for another one [protected].

Beware of this company and many others that help you in securing grants. They are only securing money for themselves. If you go to a grant website check for anything that says RAVEN MEDIA this is apparently where this is really coming from. I found several different sites carrying different names with Raven Media in the Privacy Policy. Please beware. I now have several unknown charges to my bank account that lead back to this Raven Media(under different names).

The Website says a software download for $2.29. On the entire site is makes no mention of any other charges or subscriptions. A few days later there is a charge of $39.95 on my statement. The software is extremely limited. The information on their site is limited. I have dicovered that many more people have been scammed by this 'company' (and I use the term loosely). I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I suggest that everyone else on this complaint forum do the same. The faster we get this bogus company off the market the better for all of us.

The original price of $2.99 was followed by a $39.95 charge, a $7.99 charge and lord knows what next. Have tried several times to contact this company but to no avail. Luckily, i used amex for this charge and i can turn them on this scam. Thanks

This company should be ashamed of themselves.I have contacted my bank, canceled my card, and am taking legal action! I have 2 children and struggle in todays economy to provide for them! Grant Master has repeatedly charged the amount of $39.95 monthly to my account causing checks to bounce for bills, I must pay, and initially had sufficient funds to do so! I hope these people are caught and face criminal consequences!

Grant Master I am taking back complaint made a few months ago

Earlier, I put in a complaint about this company.I'm writing to take it back. A lady named Laura called me 10-09-08 and told me they don't deal with the people anymore that charges people's bank cards or credit card. I don't know how true it is what she told me but I did get the unauthorized charge returned to me. She told me they haven't dealt with the other company in about 6 months now. But I will continue to keep an eye on my credit card statements. The charges was reversed but I will not do this again/go through this company. I have a hard time trusting and can't tell if anyone is telling me the truth because, I've been a victim of ID theft before. I DO TAKE BACK THE COMPLAINT I MADE AGAINST GRANT MASTER. You can contact Laura at [protected] Ext.108 for futher assistance/information. The company that was doing the unauthorized charges is called, "REWARD ME MORE". RAVEN MEDIA, AS OF 6MONTHS, NO LONGER HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THEM.

website offers to send you a list of agencies willing to give financial grants to undergrad students on a cd for a small nominal fee ( I have found anywhere from two dollars up to five dollars, after they have gotten your information they bill you for the small fee so all seems on the up and up... 4-5 weeks later you receive (or in my case my bofriend receive's ) a $60.00 non refundable monthly fee for somethingt the lady on te phone could give no explanation.I promptly required her to cancel the "memership immediately as I had no idea what it was for and asked her for my boyfriends money be refunded to him for services not rendered nd she refused. i then hung up.

Recently signed up to receive the cd titled "Grant Master" which supposedly gives advice on filing for and receiving Government grants. Well, in a rush I didnt read the fine print and was signed up for, "grant member site" which is $39.95 a month, "search market members site" which is $7.95 a month & "network agenda" which is $9.95 a month. Of course they all say you will not be billed as long as you cancel before the "free" membership is up, yet the phone #'s listed have no one answering calls.

Network agenda does offer the option to cancel via the internet (which I promptly did) however the other two aforementioned "sites" only have phone #'s.

It's sad that decent, hardworking people just looking for assistance, are targeted and mislead by companies such as these. I sincerely hope something is done or being done to prevent others from making the same mistake I made.

My debit card has been charged numerous times by Grant Master after I canceled. Now they are debiting it through this new company called Check BillWAUS. There is no information available on them... other than a Telecommunication Prepaid Phone service. I have canceled my card three times and each time they find the new card number... Well it only took me about six months to wake up and realize... duh! they have my account number, they don't need my card number alone. How they got the account number is a mystery... however I think it must be through the transactions. I have now canceled that account and opened a new one. It seems there is nothing else to do to stop this... apparently they are above the law. I see from this message board they have targeted a lot of people. My advice is to cancel your accounts, not just your card and open a new account. I got into this mess via a site called "The free lunch room". www.freelunchroom.com. Please avoid these sites like they are the plague.

I too was told the CD was free and there was a 2.99 handling fee, so I thought o.k. I'll order it. I purchased it approx two weeks ago. It still hasn't been opened. Accidentally I checked my history on my card today and found there was 39.95 taken off my card that I hadn't approved. I was upset about it, so I found their Phone # and called. The guy on the other end proceeded to tell me that according to their terms I had agreed to cancel within 7 days and if I didn't then they would charge my card 39.95 every month until I canceled. Well for one thing there never was anything telling me any terms or conditions, or about them taking 39.95 every month, or even anything about ever having to cancel anything. He told me I hadn't canceled so they took 39.95 off my card. I told him they wouldn't get any more from me, to cancel me then and there. He let me know that I would not get my 39.95 back even if my CD hadn't been opened, or even if I sent it back. Oh! And by the way there was no FINE PRINT or terms or conditions to even read, it was a video I watched, that said nothing about these so called terms . I am one of these that always reads the fine print before I sign. You cant read what you cant see. I decided the phone call wasn't enough so I was going to go to their web site to complain some more. Once I looked up grant master I found all these others who had been scammed too. I cant even begin to think how long they have and still will be doing this to others, no telling how much they have made off so many innocent people. I hope they are stopped.

I order this program in hopes of finding a grant for first time homebuyers. No! this program has you going in circles with misleading information. Then once you cancel the program they continue to deduct money out of your account claiming there are other components/programs that were ordered with the ential program.

I see scam scam scam all over this product! Do not order the Grant Master Program.

While reading thru the complaints about GrantMaster (also under Grant Master with a space) I noticed unfortunately, people are still being ripped off by these people. What I also noticed was many responses made by Ryan R (apparently with Raven Media) and he prints in his response their privacy policy and disclaimer. His says it is stated plainly that by accepting this, you'll also be getting "free" trial periods for other services. Well, that may be so but if these companies are so above board and honest about their dealings, why is it then that every single charge (6 all together) made to my bank account was done with a different company name? I would assume a reputable company would use their real name for each and every charge. So far I've found these companies:
RewardMeMore
NetworkAgenda
BSM/SBA Express
BSM Grant Search
Grant Search Assistant
GrantMasterCD
There are probably more. No matter how Ryan R tries to explain it away, this group is a bunch of theives and should be driven out of business!

Grant Master Ditto = RIP OFF SCAM

claim to help with a free (only shipping charged -right?) CD that will end up costing you a bundle EVEN IF YOU CANCEL for something you didn't sign up for. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY BANK ACCT INFORMATION because they will automatically charge your account and then say they can not refund it because you did not cancel in X amount of days for something you know nothing about. IT IS THE BIGGEST LIE/SCAM I have ever had to deal with. Supposedly they say you signed up for REWARDMEMORE - what is that I asked - they said I signed up for it THRU GRANT MASTER. I received 1 of my 3 charges back - I now have to call GRANT MASTER because REWARDME MORE says they set the refund policies. They have cost me TIME & MONEY - it is just like being ROBBED - but they do not think they are breaking any laws. I can not believe in AMerica that companies like this are able to continue stealing from innocent people and claim they want to help you get grants!

Ryan -

If this company was up and up it would have changed it's marketing by now, knowing that it is misleading to the public, it continues to present its product for sale in this misleading manor, which suggests that they knew all along the scam they were promoting to the public. I never received my cd either and if you don't have an original cd you can't use the program.

Shame on you. Would you do this to your mother? Your grandmother? Your wife? Do you really consider this the right way to make your living?

What morals do you have (or not have). Surely your parents taught you better than to take advantage of others - why do you choose this misguided path - just to make money? It's ill gotten and will only bring you and everyone affiliated with you bad Karma.

The thing about bad Karma - the sooner you clean it up the better.

Look deep into your own soul where all our answers are truly to be found - is this the way you want to be remembered in life?

Choose to make a better difference - choose to turn back to something better so you don't need to look over your shoulder each minute to see if it's someone you wronged.

I guess all I can do at this point is send you healing prayers to help you, for whatever you need to heal, so that you can turn back to a better life of integrity, if not for yourself, then for your children.

We are all part of the Oneness - when you harm one you harm us all.

2.29 original cost for CD never received (which nulls any contract)
39.95 "Google money profit" charge
7.95 "GrantSearch NV" charge
9.95 "NW-AG.COM" charge
total 60.14

Ryan - I'm still waiting to see a refund hit my bank account.
and your wskc.org website isn't working! Forget sending the CD

I apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the services you've been receiving from our company. There are no commitments with the free product. However, there is a bonus free trial period to membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated 4 times throughout the ordering process - on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation, it is then also explained in the 1st paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. We offer the trial periods to give our clients a chance to use the service and see the value of it for themselves before they are billed for it. The trial periods are free for 7-30 days from the order date depending on which bonuses apply. We would not have charged you had you called customer service and canceled during the trial period. Grant Master Rip off!

I was told this was an easy and simple way to get a government grant {that you never have to pay back} with a 10 day free trial. BULL there is nothing simple about it and when you try to cancel it you can't get to anyone they seem to not be around I canceled my membership on line and the very next week they took 49.95 out of my checking account This is a rip off and i know i should have known better vut i figured it was the government, so it should be honest but boy was i wrong. How do I get my money back from these people. There should be a stop put to this type of scam.

I just went to the ATM, checked my balance and I was out of $90.00. when I checked my activities, someone/somehow charge $39.34 2 times. But, NO it was some GRANT MASTER.

Immediately, contact my bank who gave me a [protected] to contact when I did they knew exactly what I was talking about and what they’ll do to refund my $$. In 10 business day or so...

It is discussing how people take advantage of others just looking to make a little extra cash and they go and take money out of them. May God not have any mercy on this kind of people.

I sent a couple of emails, one to their customer service address and another using their internal message box on their website demanding a full refund of the $39.95 charge. They quickly replied the following day saying they would indeed credit me in 3-5 business days. Today I received my credit. I also called my credit card company and reported it as an unauthorized charge and as a precaution told them to change my credit card number. Justice has been served!

I ordered the CD about government grants and was told I would be charged $2.29 for the shipping. I was not told there would be a monthly charge of $39.95 and $7.95 for the membership. I called the 800 number listed on my bank statement and was told I agreeded to this membership. I did not agree to anything of the sort. I do not appreciate being scammed and money taken from my bank account without my authorization. I will file a complaint with whoever I can to dispute this process. Please call me on my work phone and let me know that you have resolved this and redeposited the total amount of $95.80 back into my account.

I supossely had 21 days to try their program. They did not wait 21 days before they charged my credit card. I never logged onto their web site because my husband had a heart attact a few days after I joined Grant Master. By the time my husband was released from the hospital and I got the chance to download the CD there was nothing to download it was a few items to click on. When I click there was nothing coming up. So I tried to download again nothing came up. So I ask my daughter to try downloading it again it was the same nothing. I want my $39.99 back. Grant Master you are SORRY.

They offered a free CD on Government grants. I paid $ 1.99 for shipping. They then enrolled me into 'www.FastSBALoan.com', 'www.NetworkAgenda.com', and 'everydayleagaforms.com' as a registered member. They have my phone number and credit card information. As far as I am concerned this is FRAUD on their part as I DID NOT, AND DO NOT WANT ANY PART OF THEM. All I was seeking was on how to apply for a government grant and NOTHING ELSE. If any charges appear on my bank statement asa result of this how can I SUE THEM and terminate their business practice altogether?

Please let me know if you sue this company - I want in!

I have received 2 unauthorized charges on my account, one for a small amount of 2.00 and then another one for over 39.00 (on Christmas Eve no less). I have NEVER heard of this site, I have NO use for this whatsoever and I did NOT subscribe for this. Given this same crap happened to me a year ago, I pay a GREAT deal of attention to my account and I have very few bills so someone trying to scam me isn't lost easily.

Here is a GREAT tell tale that they are a scam - visit the site listed above (they one they charged to my account) and it flat out brings up the unatuhorized charges - WHY - because they are a SCAM!

Please keep me posted on the boards. My credit card has been canceled, they charges are getting removed and a complaint has been filed.

I tried a look at the $1.99 version of Grant Master. And apparently somewhere in the small print, it said that if I don't call within 7 days to cancel, they would continue to bill me for Grant Master, which is not $1.99. It is $35.95, then $7.95 for some sort of support line and then $9.95 for another support line. And to top it all off these charges are not just a one time thing but every month. Because I called and cancel everything, (you also have to call and cancel each charge separately) and the very next month there they were again. When I called, they told me that the charges were there 2 days before I canceled so they couldn't refund my money.

This is one of the biggest rip-offs I have ever seen. The Grant Master was so complicated, I don't think anyone could ever figure out how to apply for a grant. I couldn't even figure out how to find a grant that I could apply for. So please don't fall for this one, I was looking for free money and ended up spending almost $150.00 dollars for NOTHING.

I think you take any name and no one exist. Can you tell me why?
It`s that the only way you find to have moneys, you now lost people believe
in your products, but you find a way to rub lost peoples.

You think the peoples they are so stupids.
you charge me $ 44.46 but you say in internet $ 4.99
It`s a big different, I ask you to stop, and cancellation number.
I ask to Visa to investigate your product and your compagnys

I did not order what they're selling. I thought I ordered a request for information. Much to my surprise, I had money taken out of my account. When I called the number provided by my bank, I was fortunate to call India. How much fun speaking with people who can't speak English! I received a cancel/confirmation number & told I'd be refunded the money 7-10 days. NO REFUND! I called a second time receiving a second cancel/confirmation number & yet again no refund. Now the third time I called I was given a fax number to send my "request" to. As far as I'm concerned they're taking advantage of people who are looking for work at home. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOU"RE INFORMATION! They're cheats & crooks!
