Warranty service for furniture
Purchased an electric recliner on 12/16/2017 and also a service contract for 5 years of protection from date of purchase. Fortegra [protected]) is who was to service this contract. I bought an adjustable bed frame at mattress firm november 2019 and their 10 year warranty. March 2022 the frame no longer worked, I replaced the batteries in the remote control but that didn't help. I called mattress firm at the location I bought it and they referred me to the extended service contractor "fortegra". I called them and they connected me to another company called palladio who said they would get back to me within 48 hours and they wanted a photo copy of my receipt and a picture of the bed, I provided this information... They never got back to me. I called fortegra again and they sent someone else out from a company called furniture solutions, he arrived 2/14/22 and determined the remote control didn't work and he would issue a report. I waited 1-2 weeks and called fortegra again and received no help. I called 3/2/22 they stated the claim had been approved on 2/23/22 and they will be replacing the whole base but it would take another 2 weeks for me to receive a voucher to bring to a mattress firm store for a replacement, they also gave me a phone number to call to check on the voucher, I called that number but got many prompts to enter my information including serial number and model number which I did not do since I have already done that. I called fortegra again 3/9/22 and again told them of this on going issue and they returned my call later stating they had called corporate headquarters and I will receive a voucher within 24-48 hours. As you can imagine I no longer have any faith in this company and predict I will continue to get the run around with their red tape
Desired outcome: i want a replacement base at no cost to me
