Purchased an electric recliner on 12/16/2017 and also a service contract for 5 years of protection from date of purchase. Fortegra [protected]) is who was to service this contract. After 4 separate calls to them and being on hold for 30 minute to 1.5 hours on each call, I am now told they can't fulfill my contract due to the furniture business I bought the furniture from is now out of business. My claim number is 1562706. I asked for a full refund of $269.99. They are choosing to only reimburse me a partial payment because the contracted repair man came out to look at the chair only to tell me he couldn't fix it. They did not fulfill my contract as I now have to purchase the part, pay for shipping and pay someone to repair my chair which should have ALL been covered under my contract. They are only supposedly paying me a refund of $204.99 and I want a full refund do to additional costs I am having to pay out of my pocket.

Thank you

This company is horrible. I purchased four stools from Rooms to Go with an extended warranty. Everytime someone attempted to sit on the stools the screws were so small that they would pop out. Three of the four stools came apart. The tech came out and said that the stools were poorly made and that he would suggest repair or replacements for the claim. However, the claim was denied due to "no apparent fault of the manufacturer" but due to supposed "damage to the frame". This company is not concerned about the value of their customers or great customer service. Their mission is to look for inconsistencies or wiggle room out of the contract so that they don't have to own up to the flaws in their product.
