Most of what I needed from FirstLine Benefits was knock-off merchandise, not name brands.
My worst experience was with an inaccurate digital thermometer. FirstLine customer support did not respond to my inquiries. When I pursued it, they promised a replacement. They did not send that. When I pursued it again, they said that they would not consider a thermometer for human use "inaccurate" unless it was off by at least 15 degrees.
I am glad not to have to deal with them anymore. Based on my experience, I advise others to avoid them.

Captive market
Firstline Benefits is a "benefit provider" contracted by my insurance company United Healthcare. While the annual dollar benefit is substantial, the funds must be used through their overpriced and limited option mail order provider who is typically out of stock on popular items even though they are wildly overpriced.
The benefit should allow participants to shop whatever retailer they wish rather than be held captive.

Desired outcome: Instead of being a captured customer, Firstline Benefits should issue a Debit Card with HSA provisions, recharged quarterly and which can be used at any retailer that accepts it.
Long wait to receive medical supplies.
I place my order and it takes weeks to receive the item my doctor wants me to take. I'm forced to use the full amount of $60 or I will to pay the difference. I end up buying bandaid and things I don't need. I'm very upset about items I was buying are not being carried. Items are always sold out and they don't have a substitute. I'm not able to go to a...

I ordered otc products as I get 50 per quarter. Ordered on Jan 8 and to date - there is nothing. trying to send them an email does not work. Chatting does not work. They are saying that it was sent and then returned because we moved. We have permanent po box. They said they were resending. Still nothing
