Not as advertised I was looking for a loan to consolidate my various bits and pieces (including paying for school - as I'm a student and didn't qualify for *** and it's still not like I have the money laying around for tuition). This site came up. I did some research and they seemed okay. The next day, a "credit counsellor" calls me and the first thing he goes through is my credit report using another company they told me to sign up for called ***. While the "membership" fee to Credit Resources seemed steep, it seemed fair for a loan with person with shaky credit. *** said nothing of a membership fee, so we have a two headed hydro already. Credit Resources also said nothing about this additional membership fee but that was how they wanted things done. The very next day, after doing what Credit Resources needed for me to do to talk to a counsellor, one calls. He doesn't even seem that concerned with anything else outside of drafting up a dispute letter to the various credit agencies to have every single last thing on my credit report purged... including legitimate entries. Now, here's the thing. You can't dispute legitimate entries. He even wanted to dispute my employment information. I mean, everything. That was the "silver bullet". And then, he allowed me to have access to their club for their membership only loans and credit cards. The links took me to *** and ***, of which neither of these require a membership to even find let alone apply for (should know... before this I already had both a *** card and a *** account!) so they literally do nothing of what they advertise and then they not only charge you once (the Credit Services membership fee of $20/week) but also the *** membership is another $19.95/month. *** I just want my money back and never hear anything from either company ever again. I cancelled this within 24 hours of signing up.

Company falsely taking money from my bank, doesn't return calls or emails, can't reach them to talk to them Credit Resources ComplaintsBoard.com Complaint I
Company falsely taking money from my bank, doesn't return calls or emails, can't reach them to talk to them Credit Resources Complaintsboard.com Complaint I have called and emailed them to try to get someone to help me rectify an issue of non-approved and unwelcome automatic bank withdrawals that have been attempted from my bank account and have been met with complete silence, no callbacks and no return email responses. Attempts to call them are simply met with a statement to leave a message and someone will call me back which they do not follow through on. On August 4th I was looking searching for a company that would give me a debt consolidation loan and found Credit Resources. After filling out thier application form I was offered a chance to rebuild my credit as well which I welcomed thinking why wouldn't I want to rebuild my credit assuming this was done with payments on the consolidation loan, I was asked to fill out more details which included my bank information. I assumed this still related to the loan and that they needed my bank information in order to deposit the money boy was I wrong. After I completed the details and submitted I was informed that the loan was not approved then but that my credit rebuilding would be worked on thanks to my agreement to a weekly withdrawal of $20 from my bank account and that I could get the loan in 8 weeks however no loan amount was ever discussed but they were happy to take my money anyway. I was stunned and confused also angry because I didn't agree to this I couldn't agree to this my bank account had no money in it and was essentially empty for the majority of any given month. I tried to see on the page a way to cancel this and when I didn't find one I tried to go back to the previous page hoping there would be one there or more information on what I had just done and there wasn't. I immediately emailed them on August 4th telling them this was mistaken that I didn't agree to them touching my bank account and that they were not allowed to do so. I have emailed them multiple times since then, I've called them multiple times leaving my name and number everytime yet not once have they returned a call or an email. Now even though I have told them to not touch my bank account they have twice now attempted to withdraw $20 from my bank account. On August 9th the first attempt to withdraw $20 occurred however, as stated, there was no available money so the withdrawal was immediately denied and an NSF fee was applied to my account and I was alerted by email that my account was overdrawn by 39.95 because the NSF fee was $40 and that i needed to deposit money right away or face having further fees applied. I immediately called my bank because at the time I had no clue it was Credit Resources in fact because I had actually just withdrawn the last of the money from the account. I was informed by my bank however what the actual cause was and thankfully after explaining to my bank the situation they reversed the NSF fee returning my account back to a positive balance and added a stop payment for Amy future withdrawal attempts however it would only be valid for the next one and I would need to contact the company and get them to stop. I of course sent more emails and called more times still only got silence back. Crossing my fingers and hoping they would stop which if course they didn't and on August 16th I recieved an email from my bank stating that the stop payment has worked and the withdrawal attempt was denied this time there was no NSF fee applied. My fear is that they will attempt a third withdrawal on August 23rd only this time I'll actually have money in my account and they will actually get money this time which they are not welcome to. Their website information is very misleading, I have no agreement documentation from them and this feels like stealing to me. *** if possible get them to stop before they get any money from me and before they get anyone elses money.
