Hello, We had an appointment today with Dr. Kasturi Bauhmik at Columbia Hospital. My wife is an American citizen; and the charges this hospital charged to register and other charges were different from what I spoke to them on the phone. Columbia Asia Hospital Kolkata Horrible Customer Service

A Horrible Experience for Service Industry!
Message It was a painful experience I encountered a few minutes ago. I came to see Dr. Soumitra Dutta for my 5 years old baby girl as she was suffering from high fever and severe cough & cold. Once we reached the counter after payment and all formalities around 3 pm, it was told us by a lady 'Debarati' that they only can issue serial numbers from 3:30 pm. We started waiting just near the counter. Once we reached the counter exactly at 3:30 pm, it was told that our serial is 5. While requesting for an explanation, a very rude gentleman 'Amit' said that 4 people came just before me. If they came before me then they were there before. 3:30, so how could they get the serial numbers which were supposed to be allotted from 3:30 only? Amit refused to give me an explanation and behaved rather rudely. I was there for the last 35 minutes and constantly looked the way he started giving serial numbers to the people came even at 3:15 just after Debarati left the counter. This is not expected from a company like you and to add, it was a dark black patch on the face of Service Induatry where I've spent 14 years in 5 star hotels in Malaysia, Dubai, Maldives and in India an an executive team member of the group.
