Horrible service
Terrible. This is the biggest joke I have ever had the misfortune of coming across. They were sloppy. Not just sloppy they were negligent. I paid close to 400$ for them to give me the same copy of a resume I had given to them at the beginning. NOT only that but they had seemed to add errors to the one I had sent them. Then they posted this to 47 of the paid for 50 jobserach sites and they did that equally incompetently. This is a terrible terrible service and I would recommend you let your children write your resume before you let these scam artists screw you out of your hard earned money. On top of this, they charged me to fix the mistakes they made. Absolutely appalling.

Company consists of a call center somewhere in the world.
There are not ENGLISH as a first language writers. There work is sub-par, not timely. I actually found grammar and spelling errors in my resume. I asked to switch to a different writer and then the process was dragged out now its 3 weeks from the time I paid and I still dont have a resume.
This is a typical outsourced company with a flashy website, Ill give them that, the website sold me, I have a feeling these are two people sitting somewhere in Indonesia.
I figured it out, it is an I expected.
This site is just a front for http://www.cognizans.com/ who does all the work.
Its like a franchise. Its not professional, believe.

I consider myself as a professional writer in addition to my career as a communication strategist, but it seems easier for me to write a resume for someone else, and not for myself. In this case, I hired Resume Professional Writers to revamp my resume. I was really amazed by what my writer did to my resume and other inclusions of the packaged that I purchased. Everything was done very well and it exceeded my expectations. Again, thank you very much Resume Professional Writers for the excellent job.
At first, I was also disappointed with the initial resume draft that I received from this company because of grammar and sentence structure errors. I contacted the company asking for a refund but the project manager asked me if it was okay for me to talk with my writer to directly addressed my concern, and I accepted the offer. While talking with my writer, I was enlightened and very impressed with what she told me. Some of the things she mentioned were the following: 1) A resume must have a career tag to show to hiring managers the position that you wanted to apply; 2) In the Qualifications Profile, invisible I and I am are being used since resumes are personal documents; 3) The format should be targeted format to highlight all my relevant work experiences to the position that I am applying for. After the conversation, she finalized my resume together with the other package inclusions. What amazed me more was that after submitting my resume to potential employers, I received many calls for interviews. Finally, I landed on my dream job.
This company is a COMPLETE joke. Do not ever buy their resume services because all you will get is something that you could do even better.

Company did not provide me with services of creating a Resume. I paid for the Basic pkg at $125.00 which had a 5 business day turn around. I sent my questionare in on the morning of 2/11/2011 and as of today 2/26/2011 have not recieved it nor any response back from company. RIPOFF STAY AWAY!

I have the same experience with you because it took more than two weeks for me to receive the initial draft of my resume. After a very long wait, I decided to contact the company's project manager and she explained that I did not send my TARGET JOB which is very important in revamping a resume. The next day, I recieved the initial draft and it looks amazing. I am totally satisfied despite of the long wait.

That could be a very rare case. I am a returning client of Resume Professional Writers - the second time is for an internal hiring in our company. But I can attest that they are experts in what they do. So it's impossible for them to give you "the same copy of a resume" you gave them and "add errors" to it. Besides, they have unlimited revision for all their resume services. I don't know how on earth could that happen to you. But I hope you were able to relay your concerns to them because they will surely help you.
I also avail resume writing service from this company last month, but I had a good experience opposite to yours. The resume package that I purchased was Premium Package which also includes Job Posting to 50 jobsites and it was totally completed on time. Just a tip to other customers: Read the guidelines and project agreement carefully so that you will not complain in the future.
