I was a former student at Remington College, New Orleans campus. I graduated from the school in 2003. Upon graduation I was issued my diploma and transcript. The school was closed after Hurricane Katrina in 2006. I requested my transcripts multiple times over the years without any issues.
Recently I reached out the the school for a transcript request only to find out I was now being told that I have a $3,000 balance. To my surprise I was upset and confused. How could I have a balance when I was allowed to graduate in addition to requesting and receiving my transcripts on other ocassions. Not to mention I am now a 100 disabled Veterans who's student loans were forgiven.
