REI review: Phone insurance

REI sent me advertising if I paid my phone bill each month with my REI card I would have phone insurance. THIS IS A SCAM AND DON'T FALL FOR IT! I've been paying my phone bill through REI for over 2 years. Then I did have damage to my phone while exploring the wilderness. For 3 months now I have been sending the same documents over and over again to prove, I guess, I had a phone. Now they want a damage estimate for a broken phone that was turned in to the phone company. I was given a credit of $5 for my broken phone and that's all the damage estimate I have. Which isn't good enough for them. THIS IS A SCAM AND DON'T FALL FOR IT!
