i purchased an engine from this company, the engine did not meet my expectations and was sold to me under false pretenses. these remanufactured engines from EVERY company that builds them comes complete and fully assembled.this engine after 7 weeks waiting on it came complete BUT WITH A PILE OF LOOSE PARTS WITH STICKY NOTES ON THEM! after a couple phone calls with GREG MAHONEY he suggested i return the engine for a full refund. he has had the engine back at his facility in the exact condition he sent it in and agreed to honor the refund. i have several emails i can provide that state this. it has been since november of 2016 since he agreed to send the refund and i havent seen it yet! i will wait to hear from the BBB before i file a lawsuit. this is for the RAPTOR ENGINES alias of this company, which i'm finding out has several names

Raptor Engines Is a complete scam. I purchased a 383 stroker engine from his company. However, before he shipped the unit I reviewed the warranty very closely to discover he had attempted to slip in a different version before delivery of the engine. It contained misspelled words, and wrong abbreviations, by far it was not a good faith warranty. I rewrote and corrected the warranty that created a good faith warranty between 1 buyer and 1 seller. I'm glad I did too. 2 1/2 hours into the break the engine had a catastrophic failure. Later we discovered the engine was not properly bored and the piston skirts were rubbing too hard against the cylinder walls. Here's the part that shows just how sorry this company and its owner are; we notified Greg Mahoney before installing the engine and told him the engine was too hard to turn over by hand and something was not right. He instructed my mechanic to put in Royal Purple Break-in oil and it would be fine. It was for 2.5 hours. I could go on and on about this guy and the [censored]hole company he has. I'm saving that for the court to hear. Don't waste your time trying to send him a certified letter as he will not bother to pick up mail as if that going to prevent him from being served his notice to appear .

Buyer Beware - I purchased a 350ci sbc and it was installed by Ocean Auto, located in Ocean Park, Washington. I was advised after it was installed and started, coolant gushed out between the heads and block. Jill said they were going to return it and get a replacement.
I was notified I could take delivery on 2/3/2025
I responded and took a test drive but returned with in a short distance, and told Jill, something was wrong. I was instructed to leave it and Bob would look at the following day.
I returned the next day (2/4/2025) and Bob said drive it and see if a problem goes away. Bring it back if it does not. The problem did not go away but, when I returned Ocean Auto, it was out of business. I noted there was an issue on the attachment.
I called Raptor Engine and reported I was having a problem with their engine. I was instructed to take it to a auto repair shop and have it diagnose and have the repair shop call them. A waist of time and money.
I was told by Tracy at Wild Bear Auto Repair he called and reported and confirmed their was a problem which was internal. Tracy was told to remove the engine and ship it back, (more money out of pocket).
Tracy advised them, they did not have that service nor does many other auto repair shop in this area. The only auto repair shop was Ocean Auto and they are out of business.
I have money out of pocket and no results. I do not desire to spend anymore.
I was advised Raptor Engines does not remove and replace engines and there are no auto repair shops that does in my area that does.
I also do not desire a 3rd engine after the first two failed.

I'm requesting a full refund on the engine, diagnose and parts.
