I purchased from Ragalong Ragdoll my boy Argyle 5 years ago. He has been a delightful joy! When he was a kitten he came to me as a neutered boy when I picked him up. As he was growing he was diagnosed with an innocent heart murmur which I can assure you he did out grow. He came with 6 weeks pet insurance which 5 years later I still pay his monthly premiums. What I would like you to know is that he did out grow his innocent heart murmur and his insurance has no exclusions to his policy. All the tests and monitoring was done by my Vet and as he grew, matured, and with proper nutrition, with time all turned out well. Every year he gets his annual checkout and the Vet remarks how healthy, and slim he remains as he gets older. I quote from our Vet say "Good Genetics!" The Vets see a lot of cats in their practices that are over weight and I am very happy the body condition that Argyle seems able to maintain. I love my boy and would never hesitate to recommend Ragalong Ragdolls to my friends and family.

Argyle was well adjusted when I got him as a kitten and I enjoyed socializing him. Weekly car rides to visit Grandma house to play with the family bulldog Elizabeth. Going to the vet to have revolution applications and claw trims to be handled by a "trained stranger/ vet tech" all was part of his formative years. He has visit Santa with the family for our annual celebration photo. He is clean, has meticulous litter box habits and adores being brushed and combed. Argyle is my treasure and I am thankful to Marilyn & Corky for their hardwork that has brought Argyle to share my life with. Argyle is a wonderful boy and a delightful housemate! We must beware that different people have differing opinions so here is my experience and I hope it gives you some other perspective on Ragalong Ragdolls

I was advised by my daughter that there were very negative posts on the complaints board. I am a dinosaur with technology so have had a very hard time trying to contact the complaints board. When I signed in with [protected]@islandnet.com, it requested a password. Checked the forgot password link and was emailed the password
[censored]youmarilyn! This is certainly NOT my password and most of the complaints seem to be coming from one or two parties under aliases.
There is clear slander being passed on to the site and I want to be able to have them removed or at least shine light on most of the untruths.
It could be from a rival breeder or who knows, but I need to be able to refute the misinformation.

I had decided I wanted another ragdoll cat. I e-mailed Briarglen Farms for information at the end of December. Marilyn (co-owner), replied back stating that I needed to send $100.00 deposit to hold a kitten and she would then send further information when a kitten would be available.
A couple of weeks later a friend told me to read the reviews on this breeder which weren't good.
I still hadn't received further information from Marilyn and when I e-mailed her she said her mother was very sick.
At that point I purchased another kitten from a different breeder and asked for my deposit back.
She responded that the deposit was non-refundable. I certainly wouldn't have sent a deposit and then not receive any information had I known it was non-refundable. I did not receive any information on an available kitten and feel that she is pulling a scam with people.
