Radish Fiction Pricing is crazy!

Got into a good story (first one I’ve read on this app) but the pricing is flipping crazy. I got crazy and paid $15.99 for 198 coins yesterday and today it says $19.99 to get 182 COINS?!?! The only reason I did it was because I’m really into the story. You can buy an actually EDITED bestseller for way less, especially on deal online. The story has all kinds of typos/grammatical errors and the chapters are super tiny, but I’ve paid like $37 dollars total already just to get to Part 2 Chapter 68 when it goes to Part 8 chapter 113?!?!? It’s 3 coins per chapter to, unless you want to wait forever to get free coins which is ridiculous. Why the heck can’t you just buy the whole “book” for like $20? Authors would probably make more money because people would read the whole thing and not leave, angry. If I read the whole I’d be broke (sarcastic but you get it). What would I have to pay, over $100 to read the whole thing?! Honestly probably going to cut my losses and make up my own ending to the story and delete the app. It’s not worth it, which is sad because if it was reasonably priced I wouldn’t hesitate to buy and be a regular user moving forward.

Radish Fiction Hit or Miss

Most of the storylines I’ve read are great. Some are incredible! Some of the stories are great, but DESPERATELY need to be edited for spelling and grammar. Only a few I’ve read are ridiculously shallow and superfluous. One was particularly tragic; the grammar, spelling, and syntax distracted from an otherwise incredible storyline. My recommendation is to require that each story be edited by an admin (with a decent education, preferably) before it can be posted.

Also, having to stop mid-story because the rest is only available by purchase is extremely annoying, and it has caused me to abandon a story more than once. I get that that’s how you make your money, but maybe have other ways to earn coins. Heck, I’ll watch three 30-second ads for the next chapter any day!

Also, I’ve recently had issues with the app not allowing me to continue to the chapter, despite having met the waiting requirement. There’s no error message, just simply won’t go the the next page, and if I continue trying, even after a few seconds, it ends up freezing the app, so that I have to restart it. It’s only on one or two stories, though, and the rest are fine. So bizarre.

Radish Fiction Good but

Honestly, I think authors getting pay is awesome but most stories have chapters that are short that’s it’s not worth the 3 coins that I pay for. it’s really annoying wasting money on something that it’s not worth it. I really love reading all this stories from radish but after my coins that I purchased are over that will it from me because I honestly think 3 coins for chapter that is not long enough to be called a chapter be worth my time or money. I get it that authors want to have that extra money but at least make it worth the money you are getting payed for. Radish should make a policy of the length of chapter they are posting. Or make short chapter one coin at least. We have wattpad but now authors put their stories on radish which is great but it’s just too much and sometimes not worth it. What was fun about reading stuff from app such as wattpad was because of people that wanted to publish their own little stories and what was good about it was people got to comment it, like it but now it’s getting out of hand because we have to pay for it. Instead of paying chapters I prefer getting ads that show up every time I want to read the next chapter.

Radish Fiction Coins, Coins, & More COINS

Hi,
I love Radish it a good way to read books... but... Why do I need to pay to read books ? It’s too much like if you want people to pay then at least have a daily spin where there could be different amounts of coins you receive. The spin could be every 24hours and a persons coins could add up. For example: IMVU... the game has a daily spin where you could get 15 coins, 100 coins, 75 coins, & more. I think this will help your app maybe people will download it more if you put my idea into thought! Because why should you pay $1.00 for 6 coins if that only pays for two chapters and the books chapters are still locked if you need 3 coins for every chapter.. and people don’t want to stop reading a book they think is really good but not having 3 coins could stop them, so having a daily spin could really help.. I’m giving you ⭐️⭐️⭐️’s because the coins system is just over the top but please think on my idea !

P.s.
I love the update ! It was kind of confusing at first but I got around it..

Thank you for your time I really hope you guys take my idea into consideration , or even read my message.. I’m still thankful

Radish Fiction You will spend money!

So I got this app thinking it would be about the same as purchasing a book. It’s not. You can wait for the chapters without paying but if you get to the “last fifty chapters “ you have to pay the coins but if the story isn’t fully released, you will have to pay for the chapters that come after it too unless you want to wait for more than fifty chapters to be written to read again. Not to mention there seems to be no regulation on the length of stories. The one I started to read and never finished cause I got tired of spending money now has twelve parts with 100+ chapters each which gets expensive when you’re in the last fifty chapters written. Also, this author (I’m sure not all of them) tries to write in all these extra story lines that aren’t all that relevant to the central story so you pay for chapters you don’t even care about. I’ll just buy books on Amazon. It’s way cheaper and I don’t have to wait for chapters to come out and spend thee coins per chapter. You really should be able to pay a monthly fee for unlimited reading and no waiting. I’ve spent so much money paying for coins that I got to the point where I quit reading because it just wasn’t worth it.

Radish Fiction Free chapters

I like the fact that you get free chapters every few hours but HATE that they don’t build up. If I am doing something else, like sleeping, for 8 hours I should be able to come back and read 3 chapters. The fact that you don’t do it this way tells me that no one who created this app is a true avid reader. If they were, they would know how annoying it is to be unable to continue the story.

I do love the fact that so far the stories in here are well written and worth paying a bit of money to finish and if it wasn’t right before payday, I hadn’t just moved into a new house and I wasn’t broke I would gladly pay to continue reading this story.

However, I still think we should get a free chapter every three to four hours whether we have read the last free chapter or not. I went to bed hoping my chapters would stack and I would get to read three this morning. I am quite disappointed to have that hope shattered.

Maybe we could watch some short adds for free chapters if they won’t stack? Something to allow us avid readers to not go insane waiting to read the next chapter.

Props for not making us stop every two minutes to watch an ad before continuing though. That is the reason most free reading apps lose me.

Radish Fiction Overall: 3.5

I found out about Radish from an author on Wattpad and I really wanted to help because they said that the app helped them financially. I had bought 20 coins for $2.99 (each chapter or part of a story costs 3 coins) but they wouldn't show up even after I logged in and out. I contacted the team and sorted it out but it was troublesome, although understandable because it's a new app. Unfortunately, sometimes I will read a story and when I go to the next chapter (regardless if it is free or purchased) the app will show the chapter is loading and then the app will freeze and shut down, taking me back to my home screen. I haven't found a solution to this yet, so yes I do have purchased chapters and stories in my library that the app for one reason or another won't let me read. Although I have had trouble with the app I really like that I'm giving back to authors. All in all, the content of the app is phenomenal and I would recommend for any fellow avid readers who don't mind spending a few dollars to help our beloved authors. Not everything needs to be bought with coins, there are many completed (and in the works) page-turners that are free of any charges. Great app, can't wait to see what they have in store for the future!

Radish Fiction Don’t use! Rip off! Spent $40 and still can’t finish my book

This app is ridiculous. I thought if I paid $20 dollars for coins then I’d surely have enough to finish this book (The Billionaire’s Surrogate). I’m on chapter 140 something and commenters in the comments section have said my book has over 400 chapters (the app lists them as episodes) but I can’t look ahead and see how much is left. The chapters are super short, taking like 3 minutes to read. Then you either have to wait THREE WHOLE HOURS for the next chapter or pay more coins to keep reading. I think what I’ve read out of this book was good (although it needs lots of editing for mistakes) but what book costs this much? I also read where a commenter said they had spent a lot of money ($30) and started waiting for chapters but now was unable to use that option anymore! Just don’t do it. This app if a complete rip off. They give you a small amount of coins in the beginning and then start making you wait again 3 HOURS to read. Also, it seems like the chapters got shorter I got further into the book. I thought I’d just pay and finish up this book and not read another but it looks like if I want to finish this book I’ll have to pay literally 8x as much (maybe more) than I would for a book on Amazon. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP.

Radish Fiction Overpriced and Bad

Ugh. So I was on board with this app at first. It sounds like a great plan, and I'm all for writers getting paid. But not only does the app glitch up and not work but there is no offline reading option. If you get interrupted, you have to start at the beginning. And there are no guarantees that a story will be finished. That means an author could just stop. Plus some of these writers are awful (seriously, I checked out several of the popular romance books on the app's front page. When I opened up some of these supposedly edited books, they were filled with misplaced commas, mispelled words, and tense shifts, not to mention boring cliched stories.

Supposedly Radish is curating content, but god these people they're choosing. Not only that but in a recent discusion that cropped up, some of the Radish writers started bullying and badmouthing people like me who had some concerns about Radish.

Listen, guys. If we're paying good money to get a serial, it's not too much to say that we're just wondering what guarantees there are that the author won't just drag the story on and squeeze all the money out and leave us without finishing the story. It's also not too much to raise questions and concerns.

I would have loved to support this but I don't want to support crappy people like this.

Radish Fiction Disappointing

I think that this app should not charge people such large fees to read books that would cost a fraction of the cost in a real book store. With how short most of the chapters are, it is ridiculous to have to wait 24 hours to have to read another equally short chapter. I enjoy reading these stories but it is starting to get annoying that i can’t simply read the book the entire way through. Personally I have used and still sometimes use a different reading app which I sometimes enjoy more because only a few of the stories cost coins and also the other app gives you the ability to leave comments which I enjoy reading because it allows you to know what other readers think. For example while reading a romance where the main character has two people chasing after them it is interesting seeing who people think is right. Even with the ability to receive 3 free coins each day which is enough to read one short chapter of only one of the books I am reading. That leads me to the fact that 3 is an odd number and i don’t understand why it can’t be 2 coins per chapter especially when the packs you buy are not even multiples of three. It is obvious the owners are more interested in putting extra cash in their pocket then giving the customer the experience the want and deserve. The only reason it isn’t a one star review is because there still seems to be good stories on the app.

Radish Fiction The app won’t give the free episodes it promises

I really didn’t want to leave a bad review and I have tried resolving the issue with customer service, however we’ve just been going around In circles trying to resolve my issue.

I don’t mind paying for stories and some of the stories are quite good. However, the stories advertise when you read three episodes you will unlock a free episode. These free episodes, are never available. I have been back and forth with customer service (which by the way was very difficult to find a contact for) only to be told I basically don’t understand how free episodes work. I have even sent them screenshots showing how the title page clearly states the free episodes are available but when I tried to access them the app still asks for payment. The response I got was that I purchased the episode before it was available. How is it before it was available when it states “your free episode is now ready” and has an unlocked lock? Anyway the app is good even if it is a little expensive to read stories. I was really hoping a free episode every third episode would help to balance out the cost of the stories. So if you don’t mind being told you get an episode for free and then never get it the app is good and most of the authors are good but if it will frustrate you to not get the discount you are told you’ll get, then stay away. Unfortunately I am invested in four stories, at the moment, but I am not starting any new ones.

Radish Fiction Decent. Could be better

Overall, it’s an interesting format. Some of the stories are excellent. Some are trash, and not in the fun sort of way. I don’t particularly like books that haven’t been completed. Some are so many seasons it’s insane to try and read them.

I think the wait feature is fine BUT waiting an hour+ for a chapter you read in less than a minute is ridiculous. Chapters should have to be a minimum length or wait times should be shortened to 15-20 mins tops. Also I wish it had an Auto Unlock feature if it stays an hour. I don’t always have time to go in and manual unlocked ten stories every hour just so I can have 5 minutes of reading time later.

Editing should be mandatory for stories published. You are charging people, be it time or money, for a product. I don’t expect perfection but when each chapter is riddled with basic grammar and spelling issues, that’s ridiculous.

Lastly, coins should not expire. I should be able to save and use them when I want to on whichever books I want. Sometimes a story will require over 100 coins to unlock. I shouldn’t have to do that incrementally. 3 coins is a lot to unlock one chapter that may or may not only take 1 minute to read. And I have a very short time period to decide how to use them. It’s also very difficult to see which coins are still available and when exactly they expire in your history. I like it when the story will tell me exactly how many coins I need to unlock the remaining chapters.

Radish Fiction Used to love the app, now I barely touch the app

Starting off first, I’m very happy they fixed the chapters starting at the very end and you having to scroll all the way to the top and accidentally spoiling the chapter. The app runs really smooth, I always get really awesome recommendations that I usually end up enjoying! But the prices are too high. When I first started using the app, which was almost two years ago when they launched, I was so excited to see my favorite authors join a platform where they get paid for their amazing work! And it was so cheap! I could get almost 200 coins for $9.99. Now I have to pay $19.99 for 182 coins, that’s a $10 difference! So I tried the auto-refilling monthly plan, 200 coins for $9.99 and while I decided to do this, Radish had a promotion, read these stories and you’ll get 150 coins. So I read and read, use probably 300+ coins (my monthly plan + coin packages I had to buy to pay for the books to get the 150 coins) and on the last day I tried to finish up the last few chapters I needed to read and the promotion was gone entirely. I couldn’t find it anywhere. So I wasted all those coins and my own money for nothing other than some ordinary books that really weren’t that interesting but I pushed through it for some free coins that I never received and I’m not the only person this has happened to. That left a bad taste in my mouth, I still continue to use the app; not as frequent as I used to because the prices are so ridiculous now and almost every book you have to pay for, 3 coins per chapter really adds up.

Radish Fiction Love the app ❤️❤️

I first started to use the app radish, when some of my favorite authors from another app said that they were moving and/or putting their new stories on this app named radish. The authors told us the books that would they would be posting on radish you would have to pay for per chapter or wait till the chapter becomes free to read the book. I'll admit I was kind of scared of having to pay to read my favorite authors books. However every great author should get some type of pay or reward for having such amazing books. So I started to buy the chapters and I don't have one regret yet. I love the app and use it almost everyday. Many of the books on the app are free, which is also another high point for me. What makes me the happiest is that I am supporting my favorite writes. Then to put a cherry on top, the radish app tech support is so amazing, friendly, and kind. I had a coin problem and they IMMEDIATELY responded to my email. They were very open and understanding with my problem and fixed it right away. The app itself is very easy to navigate, and also gives you a variety of stories to read. So not only is this app giving me a way to support my favorite writers they are also very kind and professional and would help you with a problem if needed. I recommend this app, especially if your a wattpad reader, because some authors in the radish team update the stories on radish a week or two faster than they do on wattpad. So by the time they update their story on wattpad you'll already read the chapter before everyone else.

Radish Fiction My favorite reading app

This is by far my favorite reading app. I have 7 currently on my phone and this is the only one I read everyday. I did spend money for coins at first until I realized it was pretty expensive. Now I only watch the ads and do some of the special events for coins. They usually give at least 3 chapters to see if u like the book then it switches to either must pay coin or wait to unlock an episode. Sometimes it’s completely free but usually not. I like that all paid chapters are 3 coins (unless special event sometimes 2 coins) I like that I can earn enough for about 3 chapters a day unlocked and most stories are free if u wait 1hr, 4hrs, 12 hrs, 24hrs (varies by story) even the wait to unlock stories cost coins for the last few chapters which can range from the last 2 to the last 20 but the average is last 5 chapters or so. If it’s not a finished book then u have to wait to get free chapters again since the last few will cost coins many ppl don’t understand that and continuously pay coins instead of just waiting for more than 5 chapters to be available (if the last 5 need coins to unlock for example) I read the first 3 free chapters to see if I like the book then if it seems promising I spend the next couple weeks slowly unlocking it by either waiting or using coins. I have over 20 books in my library when one is unlocked far along enough in the story that’s when I start actually reading it. I haven’t spent on this app since I started doing it this way. They have alot of really good books to choose from more than any other free reading app.

Radish Fiction Add a story rating system

UPDATE: 04/14
The past few updates have been HORRIBLE for me. I HAD 70 coins to start with that i accumulated, only to go straight down to 28 because the default option when purchasing a new chapter is to unlock THE REMAINING episode in a story. I misclicked, intending to purchase ONE episode with coins i got from watching ads and lost a chunk of my coins. That option was at the last one and I am LIVID. That was my money just wasted on a story i story i intended to use earned coins on for ONLY. I was saving those up for when my favorite author was supposed to release her next book. I will not be buying any coins for this greedy app.

Radish original series have this problem: Many of the books on the app are full off short, insubstantial chapters that add nothing to the plot and only revolve around sex. So much that there are stories spanning over 1,000 chapters long, or over 40 seasons with no end in sight.
Radish should really add a rating system to allow users to rate books before they start reading because many of these books drag on, lose their original plot, continuously add characters and cliche plots to keep the story going instead of focusing on the original character in the description. So many characters that some books have 4 POVs in one chapter, each POV being mere PARAGRAPHS, with no substance.

Though I will say there are many good authors on the site who have completed series and arent just on the app to milk their books dry to mere powder. You can also watch ads to earn 6 free coins a day for 2 extra chapters. But there is a scarcity of books of good quality that are even worth spending on. Radish should push more newer and lesser known authors to the front instead of their Originals.

Radish Fiction Needs major improvement!

This app is AWFUL! The stories are great! However the wait time between chapters is ridiculous! PLEASE MAKE SOME MUCH NEEDED CHANGES TO THIS APP!
This app is advertised on Facebook and allows you to read the first 3 chapters for free. So enough to get you reeled in and hooked on the story line. Then you have to download this app to complete reading the story. Which wouldn’t be a problem, except then after downloading the app, you find out that you either have to pay for each chapter or wait 1 hour between chapters so you can read them for free. The chapters are way to short. You wait the hour to then read the next chapter that only takes 2-3 minutes to read. Then you have to wait another hour for the next chapter or buy coins so you can purchase the next chapter.
I love the story I’m reading, but unless changes are made, I will be deleting the app once I finish reading this book.
Please offer an option to purchase the whole book, like $5.99 per book instead of individual chapters.
The app charges $.99 for 6 coins and it cost 3 coins per chapter if paying for them. The story I’m reading has 893 chapters. That calculates to about $443.00 to purchase this book if purchasing coins $.99 at a time.
There are other coin packages available, for instance, the largest package is 182 coins for $19.99. Even at this rate, you get about 60 chapters for the $19.99. So in order to read the whole book, it would take 15 of the $19.99 packages to complete this book for a total of about $300, so a little cheaper.
Then they also offer a $9.99 per month subscription to the app, but it only gives you 200 coins per month. So you would be able to read about 66 chapters of this book per month. So it would take 14 months to complete this book and cost about $140.00.
No matter which option you take, it is absolutely absurd to pay that much for a book!
Other readers have even suggested maybe adding an option to watch an ad to open a chapter. You still make revenue as the company that has there ad with you has to pay you for there ads to be shown on your site. We readers can enjoy reading your wonderful books by watching the ads to open chapters.
PLEASE MAKE SOME MUCH NEEDED CHANGES!

Radish Fiction Frustrating

This app can be super frustrating. When I first signed up I was excited for free short stories. Once I downloaded the app I realized why most of them are free, the stories have spelling and grammatical errors through every chapter. I figured though since I was reading for free it didn’t matter if some words were spelled wrong. Then I realized that after so many free chapter you had to wait hours before a new one would open. If you don’t want to wait you are forced to buy coins that cost a ton just so you can read one chapter at a time. The chapters are usually short so you end up paying to read a couple paragraphs and half the time the paragraphing is repetitive, so you end up paying for a chapter that doesn’t progress the story further. Also the new update was supposed to give more chances to WIN COINS so we didn’t have to wait or buy them. I haven’t won more than 3 coins and I don’t know a single person who’s actually won the 500 coins. I feel like the lucky draw is rigged to only let people win 1 coin, the free episode ‘for a story that the app chose’ or you hit the better luck next time. I have 5 friends on the app and between us those are the only things we ever hit on the lucky draw, so we think it’s rigged so no one every wins the big coins. So we just started finding stories we liked and buying them through Amazon or iBooks. You can find most of the stories they have on radish on Amazon or iBooks and pay $4 for the whole story, as opposed to spending $10 for coins and only getting to read a few chapters. There are a few stories ‘like Beast Academy’ that have a ton of “chapters” and it’s cheaper just to wait out the times and read for free; because the story had like 24 “books” that you can purchase on Amazon or iBooks, but they cost $4+ a piece so you end up paying like $80+ to buy online and even more if you were to buy “chapters” from radish. So yeah some stories are great and you really get a deal, then some stories are a real ripoff and you over pay for short chapters, spelling errors, poor grammar, poor sentence structures, a ton of paragraphs that are repetitive, and poor story progression. I think that if you’re charging a “consumer” for a “product” then you should at least have better “production standards” in place so the “consumer” gets a quality “product”. I don’t wanna be paying for chapters in stories that are chalk full of spelling errors or chapters where the story just restates the same things just to pad a minimum word count.

Radish Fiction BEWARE

TLDR; I wanted to buy ONE (1) chapter of a book the other day but I ended up ACCIDENTALLY BUYING THE WHOLE BOOK. Be careful and make sure you are buying individual chapters, not bundles. Here’s what happened: I was reading a book early in the morning before heading into work. The last chapter available to me ended in a cliffhanger, but the next chapter had a wait time before I could read it. Deciding I didn’t want to wait until after I get out of work to find out what happens, I bought the next chapter. It was a quick process— I’ve bought many chapters before with no issue so I clicks hit next chapter and the purchase button. As my finger was hitting the purchase button, I saw a flash of blue on the little white banner that’s on unlocked chapters. It looked unfamiliar to me, so I clicked on the next chapter to find out what it said. But the banner didn’t pop up because I had already purchased it… HOW? If I had supposedly bought ONE (1) CHAPTER, why were TWO CHAPTERS UNLOCKED? So then I went on to the next chapter and I saw the same thing. I looked at the table of contents, and I had bought the WHOLE BOOK. This book was FREEMIUM so I was peeved bc I’m a patient and busy person, so the hr long waits would’ve been no issue to me. Plus, I wasn’t even fully feeling the book I was reading. Like yes, I liked it enough to buy one chapter, but i was getting bored of it. I came to the conclusion on my own that there’s a setting that allows you to buy a bundle of the available chapters in a book. I’m assuming that perhaps it only pops up if you have enough coins to purchase the rest of the book, but I think that is what put me in this situation to begin with. I’ve been on this app since literally day 1, when all they had was a website announcing the app was coming soon, and yet I didn’t know that about that option. If it is going to be an option, it should always be there so people are aware of it. Plus, that option should NEVER BE SELECTED UNLESS I MANUALLY SELECT IT. Like I said, I clicked the regular two buttons and I ended up buying a bundle. I did NOT select the bundle option, it was SELECTED FOR ME. Plus, since that option requires a massive amount of coins to be spent, there should be a confirmation pop up. I had 81 coins and I ended with 11. That is not okay. I’ve spoken with customer service and they’ve said nothing can be done, coins are not refundable. D: Yes, I am quite peeved, but I still don’t have the heart to rate this app inaccurately. Some books are good, but it’s weirdly difficult to find new books that are good and interest me. It feels like the same ten books are always in the Top 10 (makes sense bc they’re in the top 10, but maybe there should be a time limit on how long they can keep those spots?) Lots of books on this app feel very drawn out which is irritating bc I like ending what I’ve started, but it feels nearly impossible to finish reading some of the books on here. Additionally, the chapters are kind of expensive—you can buy complete books for the same price of 3 chapters. However, I think they make up for that by having plenty of contests and coins for ads and the wait time is only an hour. I think asking for a wait time shorter than an hour is kind of ridiculous, maybe find a hobby guys.. (i say as i am leaving a very long review on an app. It’s my day off guys!) Overall, the books are good—but hard to find, chapters are expensive—but they have lots of freebies, and that bundle feature seriously needs some work. Here’s to hoping there’s a change in the app by the time I’m back from mourning my loss of coins. :,(

edit: they updated it so now I’m happy. 5 stars bc i love how receptive they are to criticism. it’s very nice to see in an app bc it shows they care about keeping their readers happy, not just profits.

Radish Fiction Great but needs a few changes

When I first started using this app a few years ago, it was frustrating because the chapters uploaded every 3 hours, some even took a full day to upload. However, recently there have been a few improvements which definitely make the experience better. There are coin challenges everyday where you read 3 chapters of a book and you get 3 coins, so if you don’t want to pay for the chapters, you can just wait and win them for free. The waiting time has been reduced to 1 hour for most books, although some do still have 12, 24, and 48 hour waiting times, which is annoying but manageable. Other new improvements that came recently and can be found in the Gift Box at the end of your screen for easy access are the Video Ads, where you watch an ad (6 total) a day and you get a coin per ad so 6 coins that equal to 2 chapters, and the Lucky Draw which is where you shuffle some cards and if you’re lucky you get either 1 coin, 500 coins, or a coupon for a book (these are used for chapters that unlock after a certain time, not for locked chapters that you have to unlock by using coins). These new improvements with the Daily Coin Challenges let me unlock 3-4 chapters a day, more if you get the 500 coins which I haven’t been lucky enough to get yet, and it’s just really great, much better than before if you ask me.

Some suggestions I have are the following:

- I would definitely love it if the stories that you can get coupons for can be refreshed everyday so I have new stories I could use coupons for because I already used coupons for one book two days ago and it’s not refreshed for other books and I find that that very annoying.

- Another thing I would love is that all the coins given in coin challenges, Lucky Draws, Coin Packages and the like be in multiples of 3 since those are what it takes to open a chapter. I found a lot of complaints— and agree with them myself—about how people have 5 coins and can only read one chapter, leaving two unused and useless coins.

-Have a feature where you can organize your library as “Finised”, “To be Read”, “Currently Reading” (previously suggested by another reader), this trying to organize in one single space is NOT fun.

I know people complain about the time limits and locked chapters but they just need to read in the book’s description in the little (?) above the button where you start reading the chapter so you know how long it takes for a chapter to be available. And those complaints and suggestions if you’re respectful ARE heard (all of this is proof of that) even though they don’t come immediately.

All in all, I love the app and the books are amazing.
I would recommend for new app users to start by reading The Boss by Abigail Barnette, Irresistible Love by Layla Hagen and Wicked Games by Maureen Smith and their other books, but most books in here are AMAZING.

Also, a few tips for new readers:

-Read the descriptions of the book and the themes in it because there are a few books about BDSM which the theme is clearly displayed in the description and a few people are complaining 20 chapters in that it’s “too uncomfortable” for them and so so but if they just READ before starting the book, they could’ve avoided this, and let’s face it, nobody wants to hear complaints about something that was CLEARLY stipulated in the description.

- DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING COIN PACKS. Be patient and do the daily coin challenges and all the things I mentioned above. It takes a while but it’s worth it (I use my coins when I’ve reached my locked chapters and I recommend you do the same).

-Check if the book is completed (Written in pink above the title when you open the book, if not completed there won’t be anything),

-Check how many seasons there are, if any.

- Tap the little (?) above the “start reading” button to see the waiting time for the next chapter and which amount of the last chapters are locked (can be from 4-30, maybe even more but I go until 25 max) and can be opened by using coins.

-Organize your library from “Almost finished but need coins to finish” as last in the library to “To be read” in the middle section to “Reading” in the most recent part. You can do this by opening a book in a chapter and it will come as the first in your list (from left to right in the main page and top to bottom if you tap “library” at the bottom right hand on your screen). Then, Archive the books that you completely finished or just didn’t want to keep reading bc it’s too long and you had enough lol but you still liked the book.

I know all of this is tricky and takes a while to get a grip on but it’s still really great. I 100% recommend :) Happy Reading!

Radish Fiction Error message

For 4 days now, I have tried to log in through Facebook and it is saying that there is an error, that it's not active. That you all know about it and you're trying to work on it. I have emailed and you all told me that I should uninstall and reinstall or force stop. I have done those things and has not helped I still cannot get to the app to read. The one thing that still works are the alerts I get for each new chapter. I still get those, but I can't get into the app.

Desired outcome: I would like for my app to start working so I can continue to read, so I can find out what happened to the characters.

Radish Fiction Can’t log in or read

For months it keep telling me network error even though it’s nothing wrong with my WiFi and it won’t let me do anything. I can’t even read the book already in my library nor search for a new book. I thought it would be smart to log out, delete the app, and then redownload it but now it won’t let me log in saying network error. I really did enjoy this app before this network error thing started piping up everywhere now I guess I have to delete it and just move on. This upset me because I have spent money on coins and chapters and now I can’t use this because of this issue. Y’all need to fix this issue before y’all lose a lot more paying readers, like me.

Radish Fiction Extremely Disappointed

When I downloaded this app, I had to download an older version. I don't know how much this contributed to the problem, but it just continually gets worse. I love the stories on Radish, but sometimes I would pay for an episode, and it would still be inaccessible and my coins would be wasted. Or I would log out of my account and when I logged back in, my stories would be lost or suddenly become premium. That was when I could actually access the app from my iPod. Before too long, every time I went onto the app, there was a chance it would glitch and it wouldn't work. Now, I can't log into my account or access the app on my iPod at all. I've tried updating it and deleting and re-downloading it. Nothing works.

Radish Fiction Horrible app

I don’t know how this app even got approved by Apple. First of all, my version is stuck in portrait mode; I can’t get it to rotate to landscape, which is more comfortable on my iPad. Second, I apparentlt have some “coins” but it won’t let me use them. And after 10 minutes, I can’t figure out how to get more. Third, I had a coupon which was supposed to “unlock” a story for me. I followed the author’s instructions to pick up the story, but she sent me to a chapter I’d already read. Now Ihave to wait an hour to ‘“unlock” the next chapter. If I find out that they are paying authors a reasonable amount, I may change my rating to 1 star. No stars for now. Edited: Apple won’t let me give it a rating of zero stars.

Radish Fiction How 2 ?

I feel like you should be able to earn coins. I mean you could get a few after a couple chapters or watch videos. But some way to earn coins is need because not everyone is able to drop 14+ dollars a month on a fake currency. Especially when the app is labeled as “free”. I mean why not just have a people pay for the app (once!) and have all the chapters be free. I mean I get you have to make money but d*mn I could by several books for the money I am pay for a few chapters that I could read in less than five minutes. It is complete BS. There should also be a quite or how to to help navigate the app... While that being said the reading material is great... if only the app were constructed as well as the stories!

Radish Fiction Scam

I REALLY regret downloading this ap and buying coins to read a
story that wasn’t even finished! So far, I bought about $14 in “coins”. There should be some disclaimer before you start a story it isn’t finished. The comments I read after the last finished chapter was that they have been waiting over a month. The chapters are very short- and then you “spend” 3 coins to “open” the next chapter. My guess is that once all is said and done you can easily spend $10 on a book. However, it will take forever at this rate to even read it if it takes a month or more to get one more chapter out! This ap shouldn’t even put a book on its site that isn’t finished. My recommendation is that if you haven’t downloaded this ap yet- DONT! Don’t waste you time and most importantly don’t waste your money!

Radish Fiction Disappointed

I love the books, they’re great. Some of them are not correctly edited. If I win coins they will expired in 24 hours; then don’t give them to me. Have to wait 1 hour for every new chapter and it’s frustrating because the chapters are really short. Only two chances a day to only wait 10 minutes. If I leave the app for 24 hours I won’t have 24 chapters because I have to claim every single chapter after that 1 hour ends. I cannot go in and out of an app 24 times a day whether I forget or I have things to do. But what happened today was it for me I got very angry so I just finished a challenge yesterday and they haven’t let me claim my prize. You are taking away the opportunity of people reading so many great books by charging and those long waits if you’re gonna sell the book sell the whole thing. AND I WANT MY PRIZE!

Radish Fiction Just skip it!

I downloaded this app to read The Billionaire’s Surrogate and the first 10 “chapters” which are meant to get you hooked on the story are super short and not truly chapters like in other books. Then, you either have to wait for an hour for another “chapter” to open so you could literally read it in 3 minutes or less. Or you have to purchase these expensive coins to open up the next “chapters” to continue with the story. It takes 3 coins to open a chapter. This book has over 400 chapters. Do the math and you’ll see it’s not really worth it. Just skip it!

I would recommend for this app to either let the readers just buy the book outright or at least allow the user to see an ad to open the next chapter and for the chapters to be at least 3 or so. Otherwise, you start losing interest in all of it.

This is why I say just skip it!

Radish Fiction Buyer Beware

This is a scam. They get you by letting you read part of the book for free. Then they get you by making you wait a set time to get the next chapter or prompt you to buy coins to get the chapter immediately. Some books are not completely finished. I unfortunately learned the hard way after spending 60.00 in coins to get to what I thought was the end but it wasn’t. It just abruptly ended. I suspect the author will be releasing more content but at whatever pace she chooses. She for sure won’t be getting another dime for me. Half the book was nothing but sex scenes that I skimmed over. Then it started evolving into other characters. That didn’t really go with story and i skipped those just to get to the chapters that had to do with the two characters it was supposed to be about. If you do get this app beware of anything from author Violet Paige. She will leave you disappointed.

Radish Fiction Rip Off

First of all, the writing is just okay. Grammatical errors, changes in characters names from one chapter to the next. But the stories are still engaging. My problem is...I might spend $10-$15 on one of these books on a discount table at the book store. Yet the only way to stay engaged with the story and read multiple chapters at a time is to spend a minimum of $4 for 27 coins, which will allow me to read nine chapters of the book in one sitting. Otherwise you have to wait an hour between free chapters. I can read one of these chapters in less than 5 minutes and then have to wait 55 more minutes until I get the next chapter for free. There is no other way, that I am aware of, to earn coins. Perhaps you should offer advertisements, making yourself money, while allow the reader to stay engaged with the story. I am reading one story on this app because I cannot find it anywhere else and then I am finished...I will not be a repeat customer. And I will discourage others from giving the app a try.

Radish Fiction Not handicap,Reading disability user friendly! English Only!

Not user friendly for MILLIONS of people. First & foremost the fact that these developers have not thought nor taken a person being BLIND into account is extremely sad. BLIND people don’t read? That is one of the absolute offensive oversights. This APP has absolutely no option for audio/audiobook for the millions of people out there who have with disabilities. Not only being blind also reading disabilities, i.e. developmental dyslexia, alexia, hyperlexia, word reading accuracy, reading comprehension, reading fluency. As this last one is NOT a handicap, your readers who do not speak ENGLISH do not have any options which is a very reasonable accommodation. This app is neglecting to speak/read in your customers ‘mother tongues.’ Not handicap friendly software on any way shape or form. All of the above (I'm sure there are many others I may have missed to list) are absolute offensive oversights, & I’m shocked that in the year of 2022 a developer has not taken any of these things into account, very unfortunate and sad.

Radish Fiction Frustrated!

With the new update, I had to delete the app just so I could redownload for the update. Idk if it’s bc Apple is dumb or bc of the app itself but even though I was signed in to iTunes already it kept asking for my password, then saying it was incorrect. It wasn’t, and I even changed it and resigned into iTunes and the same thing. Updated my phone completely, same thing. Then when trying to sign back into the app I couldn’t remember my username, there’s no I forgot username option. So had to sign in with Facebook. Now that I’ve done that I’ve lost all progress in the one book I was reading. It was already pretty frustrating to wait three hours between each five minute read of chapters, and buying coins seems pretty pointless for me since it costs so much for so little (I would use them all in one day anyway) it’s going to take another month just to wait and skip through all the chapters I’ve already read just to get back to where I was in the book. It’s not worth it at this point and I’m sad bc I really wanted to know if Lola was able to shift back to her human self
