Worst Service of any boat dealer ANYWHERE! BEWARE of them.

My 2018 Regal Express cost $150K new.

178 days in process at Quality Boats

231 days boats been broken

In Dec 2021 the engine fails with no oil pressure and Quality Boats dealer later discovered that a factory defect on an oil pump gasket caused the problem. after many months, Quality Boats/Volvo agreed to replace the engine with a new one. However, there have been EXTENSIVE delays between the dealer and Volvo. As of today, July 26th 2022, my boat has been at the dealer for 178 days and broken for 231 days. Quality Boats and Volvo are currently unable to confirm when the engine will be available. It is possible that it could take 2 years to fix the boat. This is completely UNACCEPTABLE!

Also, I have been mistakenly bringing my boat there for 3 years now and each time the drop off and repair times are months! For 3 years now they have emailed me how "understaffed" they are but do nothing to fix the issue! IF i ever get my boat back, this will be the last time I bring it there. I have every email, call, receipt documented. I will share my experience with anyone who asks.

Thanks

Desired outcome: I need to sell the boat 6 months ago. With the dealer unable to fix the engine, I am trying to re-coop my monthly payments of $1200 plus my monthly insurance payments of $200 dollars. To date, $11,200
