Just cooked chunkee corned beef today! Cant eat it after cooking...its foul smell just reeks! I cant believe this disgusting product got to market!
Look, ngayong umaga lang ito Feb 11, 2016. nadiri kami lahat dito, walang kumain, ngsend narin ako ng concern ko, pero nakita ko ang page nyo, and i have observed that they don't even care . Grabe! kaylangan malaman ng mga ibang consumers ito. Seryoso Next Year pa expiration tapos may ganito na agad?!
I had the same issue Purefoods Chunkee corned Beef today Aug 28, 2011. Sinusubuan ko anak ko ng food ang ulam syempre cornedbeef buti na lang i saw something dun sa corned beef na may nakahalo na fly ewww disgusting di ba? Black fly isipin nyo kung ano nangyari pag napakain ko to sa anak ko. kung ano sakit pwede nya makuha. hindi lang yun! hindi man nakain yung langaw i mean nakahalo and process na sya sa food, lahat kami nakakain bago namin napansin. sobrang sama ng loob ko dahil kaya ka nga bumibili ng medyo mahal at kilalang products expected mo malinis pero hindi grabe di ba? we also send complaints thru email w/ video to customer care of san miguel for purefoods carne norte 175 grams, best by jul2012, manufactured july 15, 2010.
It was already in the plate, we ate some, when we noticed the white small worms, which cannot be noticed immediately especially if you have poor eyesight.
the complaint was endorsed to purefoods quality assurance, their personnel picked up the defective product this morning (sept. 20, 2010) at 10am, she's friendly during the time that she is in our office to pick up the product, with a touch of concern, asking for apologies, the microbiologist daw will check it for 7 to 10 days.
After a few hours, she called me up and told me that the microbiologist tested the product and there are no worms. i am tempted to post the video in youtube and facebook with the worms in the remaining meat inside the can and worms in the plate. its really annoying that we already ate it, we aired our complaints first to the company but unfortunately, it turned out that we are the one inventing stories.
