ProVast LLC / American Servicing Company review: A witch hunt!

My neighbor call me last night (09/25/07) telling me that she needed to speak to me. thinking something was wrong, i rushed right over. She proceeded to tell me that she had gotten a phone call from someone who wouldn't give there name or number but asked for me by my first name, inquiring if she knew me. She at first did not realize who they were talking about. She asked for a last name and they gave her mine, she said she knew me and they asked for my phone number, she wouldn't give it and they hung up. On her caller id was there was there name and number, she gave it to me.

This morning i attempted to get in touch with the Dallas office of ProVast LLC, not being able to, i called there Fort Lauderdale office they finally got me in touch with the VP in Dallas (DENNIS COPELAND). After verifying some information he proceeded to tell me that American Servicing Comp. loss mitigation dept. was looking for me. I ask why they wouldn't call me, he said he didn't know. I asked why they were looking for me, he said because i was possibly in foreclosure and they were looking to serve me papers. I informed him that i have NEVER been late with a payment. After hanging up with him i called American Servicing Companys loss mitigation dept. They informed me that 1. i am NOT in foreclosure, 2. that i have NEVER been late and 3. I was in the wrong dept. so I asked why was American Servicing Comp. hiring ProVast LLC to perform a witch hunt for me by calling my neighbor implying I was either in foreclosure, in collections or having my family worried sick that I was being hunted by the mafia for unbeknown reason! After transferring me to a Mr. Kelton and explaining what took all morning he didn’t have an answer for me either. Now I started to loose my calm I asked to speak to a supervisor and along came the hold music... and after approx. 1 hour I was hung up politely on. It is now some 3 hour and 55 minutes later and still have no answers as to why this witch hunt is being preformed on me... imagine if I was a couple of hour late with my mortgage payment, my kids would properly be washing dishes for Mr. Copeland and Mr. Kelton, my wife would be selling her soul somewhere and I would be either doing hard time in Leavenworth federal prison or worse yet sleeping with big p***y.
