Prometric review: Extremely uncomfortable remote proctoring experience
I did not have a good experience using ProProctor. I completely understand the need for security measures during a remotely proctored exam, but the check-in process made me extremely uncomfortable.
I was asked to show the tattoos on my hands and wrists, show my ears, empty/show my pockets, and then show my back pockets to the camera. In order to show my back pockets, I essentially had to put my backside directly in front of the camera.
I understand that measures need to be taken to protect the integrity of an exam, but there should be a way to accomplish that without making test takers feel exposed or uncomfortable. The experience felt unnecessarily invasive, especially when I was already nervous about taking an important exam.
I would not choose remote testing through ProProctor again based on this experience.
