With money saved, they can use their additional funds and resources for business development and expansion. To date, we have more than 3.4 millions users worldwide and have paid out over $120, 000, 000 to freelancers around the world.

Hi rvergara1,

My name is Emir and I work for Freelancer.com. I came across this post. I’d like to inform you that cpaleads60 also known as Muhammad Zeeshan and all of his duplicate accounts have been suspended already. Be assured that we will continue to push our dedicated teams to scan and remove dubious accounts and users.

Thank you very much and we hope you continue to use Freelancer.com. If you need any help, please e-mail customer-support@freelanecer.com.
Hi Alexmarketing. My name is Emir and I work for Freelancer.com. I came across your post here and would like to help. I’ve forwarded the accounts to our Contact Support Managers. We’ll conduct our investigation and suspend the accounts if necessary. Be assured that we’re pushing our dedicated teams to scan dubious accounts.

We encourage you also to use the Milestone Payment System to help projects get completed smoothly. By placing a Milestone Payment, we will hold the funds until you are 100% happy with the work completed. Using a Milestone payment will also let you use Freelancer.com’s Dispute Resolution Service, which allows you to dispute the Milestone if you are unhappy with the performance of the freelancer. For more information, please visit this link (http://www.freelancer.com/faq/view.php) and acess the FAQ.

The Freealancer.com Reputation System is still by far the best way to gauge an Employer or Freelancer’s reliability. Aside from checking the user’s reputation, you may also want to check how they thoroughly described a project (the more detailed and specific it is, the better) and how much they were willing to pay for the project. Considering freelancers with high reputation will help you identify more reliable and reputable people to work with.

Thank you very much. We hope we have addressed your concerns and use Freelancer.com services again.
Hi everyone. My name is Emir and I work for Freelancer.com. I regularly visit complaintsboard.com to assist users who have account concerns on Freelancer.com and I came across this post here. I’d like to help.

I’ve forwarded the information to our Customer Support Managers and we’ll do our investigation and suspend the account if necessary.

To gauge whether a freelancer is reputable and reliable, view the user’s reputation. It gives a detailed summary of what the user has accomplished, be it an employer or freelancer. The higher the reputation a user has (5 Stars being best), the more reliable and reputable he/she is. Also, we strongly recommend that you dig deeper into the user’s profile, check how they communicate, how much thought they put into their profile and more.

We have some great articles on Freelancer.com to help you select the best freelancers and more. Please visit this link http://www.freelancer.com/news/articles.html to know more.

We’ll provide an update as soon as we have it. Thank you very much.

Hi Adrian. My name is Emir from Freelancer.com. I came across your post here at complaintsboard.com and I’d like to help.

It’s unfortunate that you had this bad experience with this freelancer.

We’d like to assure you that Freelancer.com still has one of the biggest pools of proven and very professional developers.
To help you work with the best freelancers and developers, view the freelancer’s Reputation. It provides a detailed summary of what the user has accomplished, be it an employer or freelancer. The higher the reputation a user has (5 Stars being best), the more reliable and reputable he/she is. As always, we suggest you dig deeper into the user's profile, how well they communicate, what their completion rate is and more. Considering freelancers with high reputation will help you identify more reliable and reputable professionals to work with.

Freelancer.com has prepared some great articles and tips to help you on posting project and selecting the best freelancers for any requirement via this link http://www.freelancer.com/news/articles.html.

We are glad that you used the Milestone Payment System but it is unfortunate that you released it too soon. For your future projects we strongly suggest that you withhold releasing the milestone payment until you are completely (100%) satisfied with the Freelancer’s work. This will obligate the user to provide the work as you specified. Using a Milestone payment will also let you use Freelancer.com’s Dispute Resolution Service, which allows you to dispute the Milestone if you are unhappy with the performance of the freelancer. For more information, please visit this link (http://www.freelancer.com/faq/view.php) and access the FAQ.

We hope we have helped. Thank you very much and we hope to see you use Freelancer.com again.

Hi Mike7367. Emir here from Freelancer.com. I came across your post here and I’d like to help.

It is possible not to pick a bid on your project. What happens is that the project merely expires and you have an option whether to continue or not. Freelancer.com provides options which work best for employers. If you have a project that hasn't been awarded yet, you can close the Project at no additional cost. We do charge a $5 fee to completely delete a project. When a project is deleted no one will be able to view the project, the attached files nor any of the bids on the project. The information will be unavailable to affiliates and the API. This should also remove it from the search engines next time they re-index our site. For more information, please visit the Freelancer.com FAQ (http://www.freelancer.com/faq/view.php) specifically the Employers - Project section. You can also cancel your account anytime by contacting our Online Help Desk. But we strongly suggest that you see for yourself what Freelancer.com can do for your business. Freelancer.com has one of the largest pools of proven and very qualified freelancers and reputable employers and because of this, employers from all around the world flock to our site.

We hope you give us the opportunity to serve you. Should you have further enquiries, please send an e-mail to customer-support@freelancer.com and we’ll answer them shortly.

Thank you very much and we hope to see you use Freelancer.com services.
Hi Nielga,

It’s unfortunate that you feel this way about Freelancer.com. We’d still like to offer our help.

Hi everyone. I saw the posts here at this complaintsboard.com thread and I’d like to address these concerns.

I would like to inform you that Freelancer.com is not a scam nor does it operate to cheat users. It is a legitimate business with more than 3.7 million users and hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers. As of to date, we have paid out more than $134, 000, 000 to freelancers all around the world.

Freelancer.com has dedicated Support Teams available 24/7 ready to respond and resolve account issues quickly. They can be contacted through e-mail or live chat. Please be assured that Freelancer.com takes great care of its users.

Be further assured that Freelancer.com does not take away funds or money from its users. We deduct nominal project fees, paid membership plans and charges for our services. For more information about our fees and charges, please visit these links - http://www.freelancer.com/faq/view.php and http://www.freelancer.com/news/articles.html.

As for cancelled projects, it is possible to get a project fee refund. Users only need to file a ticket and ask for a refund. Once we’ve established that the employer no longer wishes to continue with the project, we will release the refund.

Please be assured as well that funds are not kept at Freelancer.com. Should an account be suspended, funds will be on hold for the duration of the account verification procedure. Once it’s been completed, the funds will be made available.

As for withdrawing funds, we do require users to withdraw a minimum of $30. But be assured we’ve taken into account your feedback about this matter.

As for our arbitration system or the Dispute Resolution System, this service is an additional benefit for those who use the Freelancer.com Milestone Payment. We do make it clear that using this service requires a nominal $5 fee. We explain to our users who use this to exhaust all possible methods to resolve their issues with their employers or service providers before using our Dispute Resolution System. Please be assured that we are always fair in resolving disputes and we base our verdicts on facts provided by both employer and freelancer.

We strongly believe that our Milestone Payment System serves both employers and freelancers alike as it helps projects get completed smoothly. By placing a Milestone Payment, we will hold the funds until you are 100% happy with the work completed. For freelancers, asking for Milestone Payment will give you peace of mind and it will also show that the employer is prepared to put up money for the project.

As we mentioned earlier, we have taken into account all of your feedback about service and support. We will continue to improve on the work that we do to serve you better.

Should you have further enquiries, please send an e-mail to customer-support@freelancer.com and we’ll address them promptly.

Thank you very much.
