Is your vehicle a 2002 volvo that our company covered a repair for control arms and show an expiration date of January 7, 2013? If so, are hands are "somewhat tied", but we can review the completed repairs for possible goodwill adjustment.

It appears to me you purchased the vehicle over 3 years ago. The service agreement was purchased on February 25 with a claim the following day on February 26 and 16 miles added to the odometer. As our staff explained, the service agreement must be purchased at the time of sale.

I think it is important that I explain the "other side" of the story. ASC has offered service contracts thru dealers since 1986. We are one of the few if not the only service agreement company that answers every call with a live person. Through experience we have learned to offer a great product at a reasonable price and you will be successful. We develop a rate depending on the age of the vehicle, the mileage at the time of purchase and the cost to repair the typical vehicle. We offer service agreements that will cover repairs to the actual cash value of the vehicle. Because of the year model and mileage your vehicle qualied for our basic coverage.
