To the person who posted the concern with the Fake Prices. I must say that when someone makes an Error they should be held responsible or have to provide compensation..
1) Did you take a look at the website later that day. I've come across many lucrative prices most recently being from Future Shop this past Friday. They were advertising a 58" 1080P Plasma TV with a $1000 saving. A quick email to their Web People and Guess what within an Hour the price had been changed to a $200 Savings.
2) No honest reality such as Leon's would want to advertise something as such knowing they wouldn't make any money. They made an Honest mistake. Buddy you honestly thought you had found a way to beat the system.
3) Do your homework. No Retail is prepared to give anything away. follow what the market pricing is... This would give you an Idea on what you should be paying.
4) i'm sure the Manager quickly changed the price the right retail of $1479. Honest mistake Buddy they missed inputing a 1.
Good luck in the Future Trying to scam someone.
After much research I have come to the conclusion that it is not only Kenmore which is made by LG which has this problem of refrigerators breaking within the first few years. In my previous home, I had a Maytag which the freezer broke when it was 15 months old, and I lost all the food. I was unable to have a repairman come for a week so I bought a small Haier fridge w/ freezer w/ a dent in the side at Best Buy to get me through a 4th of July party and I keep it in my basement. I had purchased the extended warranty so it was covered. My sister in law has an Amana bottom freezer which the fridge section died in the first year. I think it all just boils down to all appliance makers are using cheaper parts (and charging more) on their refrigerators and they do not last as long. It seems like the same problems are happening across the board with all brands when you do a google search. It seems if you get a good one - you are just plain lucky these days.
Wu Yi Tea has partnered with Live Life Lean to conspire to automatically sign up consumers without their knowledge of membership to Live Life Lean. Live Life Lean subsequently charges consumers $19.95 a month without providing a product nor service. This is fraud.
I would not trust Raymour & Flanigan. In November 2008 I visited the E. 14th St store in NYC. I saw the Almalfi sofa listed (NOT on sale) for $999.00. The saleman did not know if or when it would go on sale. I decided to wait for a sale.
I checked the R&F web site around the holidays and still no sale…it was listed for $999.00. I checked teh web site again around middle of January No change.
I checked again before President’s weekend and it was on sale for $1089.00…Yes the price went up and they listed it on sale.
I decided to check the R&F web site again the following week and it was on sale for $989.00…$10.00 less than it was listed in November and January.
I decided to have an online chat with customer service and questioned the $989 sale price vs the 999.00 price in January. They told me the sofa LISTED for $1089.00. I asked why then was it on SALE for $1089.00 during President’s weekend for $1089.00 if that was the list price. NO ANSWER.
