I have a similar experience to your experience. I have settled an account w/West Asset Management [protected] & [protected] for 50¢ on the $1 on April 2005 and now I am being sued by Palisades Acquisitions XVI llc for the other 50%. I'm ready to go to court w/my attorney to force this company to pay my attorney's court fees after I win the case. West Asset refused to listen to me when I called to verify that this case was closed but it will have to do it for Palisades
I have settled an account w/West Asset Management for 50¢ on the $1 on April 2005 and now I am being sued by Palisades Acquisitions XVI llc for the other 50%. I'm ready to go to court w/my attorney to force this company to pay my attorney's court fees after I win the case. Lisa Nichols, who signed the letter for the settlement from West Asset, refused to listen to me when I called to verify that this case was closed in 2006 but it will have to do it for Palisades. I also called headquarters in GA [protected] & [protected] whose manager refused to listen to me and I was constantly put on hold by the receptionists every time that I called
I already have an attorney assigned to this case and she wants to walk into the courthouse to give Palisades a fair chance in front of a judge. Is your case going to court? There's always a chance that Palisades will drop the case
I've had a debt settlement agency close this settlement for me. Of the five that I have had it settle, this one was the only one that wasn't satisfied
Maggie;
Thanks for your advice. I should have done as notified. I had my attorney contact Hick's law office and everything was closed after then. I would have sued HSBC if I had the chance
HSBC was rated the worst credit card company under last year's survey. I can see the reasons why. It has limited customer service hours. I have called so many times in the afternoons and weekends and I had to wait until the next business day. Anybody who has HSBC credit cards can close them down and try a new company
HSBC was the same company that had the lowest credit card ratings before selling its interests to Capital One. I can see the reasons why.
