If that is the situation, that is completely wrong. Take that to the insurance commissioner right away!

Don't just let that go. If they didn't want to issue to the policy, they shouldn't have.

One note: State Farm and Farmers are two different companies. State Farm is the highest rated life insurance company in California by the Department of Insurance.
What you have is a guaranteed renewalable term policy. You can probably apply for a new policy and pay a much lower rate.

Also, you may not need as much coverage now. Look around for quotes and only insure yourself with A+ rated insurers by AM Best and Weiss.

Christians lying and being unethical? The hell you say!

But seriously... What happened? I will try to help you.
Some idiot gave your phone number as his, but they should be able to put you on a do-not-call list.

There seems to be many [censor]s at work here.

Next time they call, tell them you would like to hear all about what they have to offer and then put the phone down.

I guarantee no one will be on the line in an hour when you pick it up.

Even better, if you have an ederly family member with dimensia, put them on the phone and let them talk to the rep. I guarantee they won't call again!
Your insurance company should be able to subrogate to Fred Loya. When they subrogate, they can recover your deductible.

Whether Fred Loya pays without a fight is another story.
I hope you are lying about the 4 hour thing, appalled customer...If you are telling the truth, then My God! I fear for the safety of those that live around you. No one in their right mind would sit on hold for 4 hours. I am glad you agree this forum is for complaining, because that is exactly what I am doing.
Sandra, you have to be careful about the rating of the company you are buying from. Does it make sense to buy a 30 year term life policy from a company that may not be functioning in 20 years? Find out if the policy you bought is from an A+ rated company. Go to ambest.com and weiss.com to check their financial security. Remember, anyone can offer a low rate, but if they don't collect enough to pay premiums, then what happens?

Oh my god! I am so sorry that happened to you. I am glad you are alive.
If you are with State Farm, you should have an agent. Use that agent to be able to help you. It also sounds like your home is uninhabitable. Ask about loss of use coverage on your policy. I do not work for State Farm, but I do know a few things about the insurance business.
If you can't make any headway with your agent or claims, you most likely have a deductible. Use that deductible to hire your own engineer to remeasure. If the first engineer was off, make sure that State Farm deducts the cost for the second one from your claim. But, first try your agent.
Hope this helps.

United Health are the worst of the worst no doubt about it. We need single-payer healthcare in this country now!

FDL...that is a flat out lie. Medicare and Social Security have been the most successful social program in history. In 1935 35% of the elderly lived in poverty. After the creation of Social Security and Medicare by 1965 that number dropped to 8%. Lack of health insurance causes 45, 000 deaths in this country per year. Medicare also costs the government less than Medicare Advantage which is run by private insurance companies. We are the only western industrialized nation without universal health care. I should know...I work for a health insurance company. The entire game is to profit from people's poor health. The less care you give, the greater the profit. Countries that provide health care to their citizens spend less than half of what we do per person for health care costs. The best care in the country comes from the VA, also government run. Read a book if you know how and then comment.

I am so sorry that I don't have the infinite wisdom of you and your six friends. I am terribly sorry that I decided to do my own research. And guess what you goddamn facist pig (as long as you want to be nasty about it), it is painstakingly obvious that you don't know how to read and have no interest in learning. I am quite certain that you had someone read this to you and then type the answer for you. You are an idiot, and you will always be an idiot. I gave you statistics, not talking points. This will be my last post because a degenerate KKK member like yourself is not fit to listen to facts rather than the three people you asked. So when you give up your Medicare and you want a private insurance company to charge you $10, 000 a month for your health care when you are 65, I hope you are happy. Do me a favor and solve the gentleman's problem up above and take a civics class.

I am not sure what the rules are in Virgina, but you may not have a leg to stand on with this one. Once a driver is licensed, whether driving or not, that driver must be rated on a vehicle. In California, the insurance company would not have backdated the charge, but Virginia may be different.

Unfortunately, the agent is not privy to all of the information on your driving record. The agent can bind coverage as it seems he did, but after that the policy must be approved by the underwriting department. The underwriters can do a more extensive check on your driving record. When they completed the check they found that you drove on a suspended license. Unfortunately, that is your fault, not the agent's fault. You should have disclosed that information to the agent, and you could have avoided this situation. Sorry.

Many insurance companies use junk parts. The courts have usually defended them in doing so depending on the part. The insurance company should, however, restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition. Good luck!
If the changes are due to a mileage form, they must be talking about the mileage that you drive each year. Farmers has a very specific calculation (usually based on your one-way mileage to work). Ask them to provide you with a written breakdown and explanation. Many payment plans can be confusing. If the premium has changed, ask them why.
Some states allow insurance companies to charge extra because of bad credit. Unfortunately, the only way to change this is to petition the insurance board to change the law. Most people with good credit don't mind you paying more because it causes them to pay less. It is not fair, I know, but what can you do? My best advice is to improve your credit as best as possible.
Brenda, you are wrong. First of all, there is no way that it should take 3 to 6 months to repair your vehicle. Klike, you should be able to get three different estimates and provide those to the adjuster. The adjuster should pay you directly or pay the body shop. Brenda, even though Klike may have liability insurance, he may not have collision coverage. It doesn't mean that he shouldn't drive, and it certainly does not mean that an insurer has a right to delay a repair. If they are accepting responsibility for the accident, they should repair his vehicle in a week or two depending on the job.
Trust me, if you had a case, and it is worth it, you would have attorneys willing to take the case. Winning a lawsuit against a company as large as State Farm is gold for an injury attorney. Can you elaborate on your issue? Maybe I can point you in the right direction. From reading what you have, I can't tell what State Farm did to you. These are just general accusations.

This is a very deceptive move by Mercury and it is not consumer friendly. It sounds like you have not only received a policy fee, you have also received a short-rate cancellation fee. It probably negated your unused premium. If you would like, I can help you with Mercury if you will bring your auto insurance to my agency. E-mail me at shawn@dennisroseneagency.com.

This is a ridiculous way to handle a claim! If you have collision coverage on your policy, I know it sucks to pay a deductible, but I recommend putting it through your own insurance company. I dealt with "fly-by-night" insurance companies in the past and they suck.

Carl, State Farm has unbelievably high marks not only from the ratings bureaus, but also from the Department of Insurance of California for their Life Insurance company.

asereth, it goes a little deeper than that. Just because a Pit Bull or Rottweiler is not as aggressive as smaller dogs does not mean that the insurance company will not see those dogs as an adverse risk. Because, when a large dog attacks someone (even though it is probably not as often) it definitely causes more damage. Most insurance companies will deny your home insurance based on you housing those dogs.

That is not right, since you should have a 30 day free look period once you receive your policy in CA. Shoot me an e-mail (shawn@dennisroseneagency.com). I would like to discuss this with you further and see if I can help you. I think you spoke to someone who isn't very informed. Many times these issues are due to a simple miscommunication.
I am glad you finally got your money. Travel insurance as a whole needs a lot of work. If I were you, I would accept the opportunity to contact the company directly. You may make it a better experience for someone else.
I am really sorry that happened to you. It is rather difficult to determine what caused your transmission to slip. It is a result of mechanical failure and may not be actually caused by the theft. You can, however, appeal the insurance company. They should have sent you a denial letter which tells you how to appeal. If you don't get satisfaction from the appeal, contact the Department of Insurance in Connecticut. Maybe you will have some luck! Hope this helps.
