Although it's wrong to give the allure of a free product and then bill the user, how would they have gotten your credit card information? Who gives out their credit card number when someting is free? Sucker born every minute.
How did they get your credit card information from a Wal-Mart survey?
An expensive and time consuming problem you're dealing with because you mistrust and need to deceive your wife. (Wives... you know what I'm talking about.)
There should be a law against companies that renew subscriptions without contact with the customer beforehand. Sadly, it's usually in the fine print and you signed a contract. Once the customer realizes the money has been taken out of their account they need to go through hoops to get it back... if they can. The solution is to close your bank account and open a new one. Cancel your credit card and get a new number. They're trolling for people who won't notice or won't want to be bothered fighting and let the money side. Let your bank know that this activity is happening and contact the BBB or the police as this is theft. Don't let them win.
Why does Nolan C's comment read almost identical to Shane2's comment for a separate complaint for Acai Slim? I think we've got another scam going on here.
I suggest everyone read the response by Nolan C within the complaint:
I think it's quite similar to Shane2's comment. Not exactly sure what the scam is here, maybe just someone screwing around?
Ahhh... I thought so. are dazzlewhite and acai the same company?
Looks like Shane2 and Nolan C removed their crap apologies from both forums. I'm not sure what this person was trying to achieve, but it was very obvious that they weren't messages from either Acai or Dazzlewhite customer support.
Don't be fooled by imitations people. Most of the people that offer contact by phone or website are hackers and looking to steal your identity. If you need to contact the company that scammed you look for contact information on packaging, if possible. you've already been had... protect yourself!
I am incredibly sceptical. By adding my name to your other lists I'm only inviting more calls, not blocking them. I have to question your motives too. Nothing is for free... especially advice from a consultant. I sincerely doubt that your mission is to save the world from telemarketers without financial compensation. What's the catch? Also, I googled your company and failed to find the website you suggest I enter. How do I know that if I go to your site I'm not inviting all kinds of problems? Why should I trust SPG Consultants? Keep in mind I have done nothing to warrant these calls from Global... I don't plan on being "had" by anyone.
NO, IT ISN'T TRUE! Come on people! You've got to be kidding me. The whole thing is a scam. Once you contact them they'll be asking for money from you to receive the "prize" and you'll never hear from them again. You haven't won anything. There isn't a contest. Money doesn't fall out of the sky. No one is going to hand you hundreds of thousands of dollars. Enough already. This has to be the most obvious scam out there.
Viney doesn't represent Dazzlewhite in any way. Anyone who attempts to access the site this guy lists will end up with a virus on their pc. This is a scam within a scam.
The calls started coming in every day, even after getting a confirmation that we would be taken off their list and would never hear from them again. We have over the course of a month left 4 messages, 2 emails and spoken to 4 people (including supervisors) who assured us it would stop. The 9am Saturday call was the straw that broke the camel's back. We're currently recording calls and putting together a case for harassment with our lawyer. I'd hate to see how they behave when they're actually phoning the correct number.
All psychics are scams. No one can see the future, ghosts, or what ever "spiritual" forces you require to feel better. You want to feel better... see a psychiatrist.
Crossing my fingers, but it appears the calls have stopped. And to think, all I had to do was call a lawyer and begin an action suit.
Wow. You paid someone to cast a spell. And the spell didn't work. Gee, who would have ever expected it to be a scam.
Gone are the days when you could piss away all your money expecting an abracadabra to make all your dreams come true. Whom can you trust if you can't trust a man who sells black magic spells online?
Why not add your full name to your complaint and see if you have a job tomorrow.
It's not remotely close to home. Amex sucks. I don't use credit cards. And you're not my friend. You're just a miserable customer service rep who shouldn't be because you have thin skin and can't understand how people have every right to complain or criticize when they're being taken advantage of. Amex pays you to sit there and do a job. Not to ### and whine because someone has a beef with your company. You don't like it... try to find a job where people are treated fairly. TRY to find one. Everyone deals with crap. Get over it.
carissa p does not work for Wu Yi. Check the users profile activity and do not try to contact them through his/her infomration. They are just as much a scam.
Don't bother with Mary. Mary doesn't exist. She's a scam. You'll call or email and get caught up in a big mess worse than you've dealt with. Scammers are like vultures on this site because they see people who have already been had so they're easy targets.
Never ever respond to these people.
Oh, and just look at "her" profile and check "her" responses. Apparently she works for 32 different companies.
Perhaps the best way to have dealt with the situation would have been to say something to the staff at the time. Walking out doesn't accomplish anything. Had you spoke up at the time you may have got some results.
When I returned my lease I had the dealer sign off on the car. I had paid on time, kept the car in perfect condition and met each and every maintenance requirement. The car was also 2400 kms under the contracted amount. 3 months later they send me an arbitrary bill saying I owed them 350 bucks for damage. I had the car signed off without a scratch and yet they send me this bill without a breakdown of what the money was for. I called and a [censored] says there was a scuff on the bumper. Excuse me? A 350 dollar scuff that wasn't there when the car was signed off? I told them it was wrong and that I wanted proper documentation as to where this dollar figure came from. Months later I get another letter in the mail that says I have 10 days to pay up or I'm going to collections. I called again and got this ignorant little [censored]bag Kevin who was arrogant, rude and obnoxious. I asked him to send me the documentation. He emailed it to me. It showed the sign off with 0 dollars damage. I called the [censored]bag and said okay... we're even. The documentation showed I didn't owe anything. Oh yes you do, he says and started threatening me. I asked for a supervisor. He said no and hung up on me. I called back and told the operator that I wanted his supervisor and under no circumstances was she to put me through to him. She did. The [censored] laughed and taunted me and put me into phone limbo. I called the operator again and explained the situation and that I wanted a supervisor NOW. She put me through to some guy who must have hated Kevin because he was helpful, gave me the name and extention of the supervisor and over the next couple of days I was able to talk to her. In the end I did have to pay 150 to get them off my back and was told that [censored]bag Kevin would be reprimanded. I doubt it, but if he was he deserved far worse. This was my 6th Chrysler vehicle. I have 3 family members that work at Chrysler and this is how they treat their customers? I absolutely LOVE my Mitsubishi!
