It's a tough world out there. Try not to get your panties in a wad when some telemarketer calls. A) Tell them this phrase exactly as I have written it: "Please put me on your no-call list." Telling them to "take me off your list" is not the same. It's legalese, but it works.
B) Just lay the phone down and let them sit on the line. Every minute they are waiting is time they could be productive making calls.
C) Don't take it personal. Telemarketing is a tough job. Maybe the person had a bad day or just found out they have cancer. You never know. Fight hate with love.

Consider this a warning to all who would want whiter teeth: Have this work done only by a qualified, licensed Dentist. It is not really much more expensive and they do a great job. You can also use UltraBrite or some other whitening toothpaste (be sure it has fluorine.) Also, stop drinking coffee, colas., Mt. Dew type drinks as they will yellow the teeth.
I disagree with your assessment. Verizon is a great company with which to deal. You should call them and talk to them. If the person you talk with does not satisfy, ask for a supervisor. Tell them I sent you. It might help.

I have dealt with Namesecure for years and while they have no telephone number, they have always responded to my support issues within 24 hours.
Maybe their mail is being caught by your spam filter.
How sad. Sometimes these are impossible to get off your credit card. I have even gone so far as to report my card as STOLEN so that a new number will be generated and scammers like that are left empty handed.
You'll probably never get your money, but kudos to you for standing up for your rights and fighting these crooks.

Next time, purchase a mattress at an actual mattress store. They will provide better service. At 76 years young you are doing thrifty shopping. Sometimes it is better for people our age to PAY A LITTLE EXTRA and get better service. BigLots is certainly a pay-as-you-do discount house.

Now go on and stop worrying about this. Both Mattress Firm and Big Lots are good companies. Pricing is not always the same at all stores for various reasons. Mattress Firm specializes in MATTRESSES. They also provide more service for the money. Sounds like the sales person was pretty slick; there was no reason why you had to bow to his pressure. This says more about your weakness than about his salesmanship.
IMO (that means "in my opinion" in Internets Talk, ) the Serta brand ain't what it used to be. You want a cheap mattress, you're gonna get a cheap mattress. I would rather buy a decent mattress like Tempur Pedic, which will do wonders for you. Try it, you'll like it.
