Travian staff and management are hands down the most dishonest crooks in the entire known internet gaming world - and I can confident tell you that with very little fear of contradiction.
This dishonest company has an extremely bad name of disadvantaging clients - especially their paying customers for some strange reason, with inconsistent decisions, bad attitudes from support staff and a German telephone number which is required by law but which is not attended.
Typically they leave players alone in the beginning of the game, but after a few weeks the trouble starts - banning of players for the most incredibly and bizarre reasons - no access to appeal or to management to review these decisions and no refunds of money already spent
If you decide to play Travian, especially these days, you deserve to be ripped off, there are plenty of sites out there which have horror stories of this awful gaming site.
I am surprised there are not many more complaints on this blogsite about these crooks who run Travian
They are certainly the worst experience I have ever had on the internet - after only a matter of months when you have the illusion that all is well you suddenly get attacked, out of the blue, by Travian support staff who hurl the most amazing false accusations against you about alleged cheating and then it is impossible to reason with them until, within days, they ban and shut down your account - no refunds.
over the past 3 years every person I started playing this game with has gradually left after the same or similar experiences
Avoid these crooks like the social lepers they are - STAY AWAY!

This site is hands down the worst scam site I have come across in over 20 years of internet use.
Somebody needs to sue the hell out of them.
