I went through a horrible experience with this resort, and I'm out of three thousand dollars right now BUT I'm in a process to cancel my timeshare.
I also had a horrible experience with them. I've purchased my timeshare 3 years ago, and it's been impossible to get out. I was pressured to sign a contract,
and i was also scammed, they never did what they promised. We must do whatever it's in our hands to put finish to those thieves!

It is always best to hire someone skilled to do so, unfortunately in most cases these companies dedicated to cancel timeshares usually cheat for the second time to their customers since they are vulnerable and desperate. Yes, unfortunately Mayan Palace is one of the most fraudulent resorts! I also had a bad experience with them, the way they treated me, and all the lies i've heard.
The worst thing is that once you fall into their scam tactics it's almost impossible to get out.

I had a terrible experience with this resort, they lied to me at a presentation telling me that i was going to be able to use my timeshare and then to rent it would be payed by itself, but it never happened, not only i couldnt rent it but also i couldnt even use it, theyve stolen me lots of money, and time! Be smart and stay away from this nightmare. Looking for a solution to my problem i found this blog where at least ive learned a lil bit more about what to do in those cases, and maybe theres still a way out for all of us! Good luck.

I've spent a lot of money and i was scammed by other companies trying to cancel my timeshare.
My advice is that if you're going to hire a company to help you with the problem, DO NOT PAY ANYTHING UPFRONT, because it use to be a fraud.
