fail troll obviously fails.
either that or the OP is really just as ###ed as she claims the employees to be
p.s. i would have to side with your husband. if this is all true, i would have just left you there. let the police deal with ya and lock your sorry ### out. you need to OD on your meds. that will solve alot of your issue. everyone elses too
with the handicap that the op has, makes me wonder why she isnt working at walmart
the person is new to the interwebz.
this is how these businesses stay in business...tsk tsk tsk
must be your first loan. this is what happens when you dont make your payment. why would they call you. they got what they need. you should be calling them to get what you need.
i wouldnt doubt that they are right. DSL runs off of normal phone lines. HOWEVER, they are very susceptible to interference and have to be setup perfectly for a good connection. a connection will drop if the signal has to travel too far without amplification. Hence the reason why they say that being 3 MILES outside of the area is the cause. that 3 miles is a long way for the signal to travel without amplification.
however, it could be multiple things. it could be an error as to the way that its setup( long phone line from wall to modem, filters on the wrong outlets or filters not connected), it could be old phone lines in the home, it could be something so insignificant as having a speaker next to the dsl phone line/modem. hell, it could even be a security system causing the probem.
there is something wrong. assuming that everything within in the home is right, i would have to agree with AT&T and say that its because of the range that your at.
problem one- it doesnt make sense to have a car repo after something so minor as a timing belt/chain. the cost is minor compared to the cost of the car/amount of damage to the credit.
problem 2-your worried about taxes because the car is sitting on the property. as capital hill commuter says, this will not affect taxes. it may give you issues if there is a home owners association or if the city/township doesnt allow non working vehicles to sit in view of the road. but, thats a real easy fix---hide it under tarp or back yard.
your wrong-plain and simple.
a single tea is 1$.
as the menus state, a meal is X amount of dollars. if you're buying a meal, your buying that full meal for that price regardless of the drink you are getting.
nothign out of the ordinary here folks. move along
pictures or it never happened.
oh, and before i forget. when your an ### to people that deal with your food, you get what is coming. pay back is a ###. karma will come around. whatever way you want to look at that
you people are dumb. that is all
actually, Korea is not one of them. made in korea is a sign that its fake. http://www.americanchronicle.com/articles/view/27879
another way to tell if its authentic when ordering it from the internet is by the price. if the price is too good to be true, it is.
you may want to look into that. everything on the web indicates "made in korea=fake"
by the sounds of your post, your obviously in the dark about how the internet works. as your complaint may be ok to you, its not a valid complaint. they dont offer "wireless" internet. they offer internet. the wireless portion is done by adding a wireless router. but, this is doing nothing than making the signal a wireless signal. their responsibility stops at the end of the cable. their portion is working. if the wireless isnt, the equipment isnt theirs to service. they dont make the product nor would i expect them to fix that product that isnt theirs. they may help you troubleshoot it if they offer that service.
now, as far as routers are concerned, there isnt anything to them other than hooking them up and thats it. SOFTWARE IS NOT REQUIRED FOR ROUTERS TO WORK.
He would most definately like some cheese with his wine
i made the educated assumptiohn about being overweight and the cankles. if you look at the xray, you can see it
they will install a wireless router for you. doesnt mean they have to support it. as for the routers, there is no need to know the lan or wan settings unless you want to do the advanced settings to setup a "custom" network. whcih, you wouldnt.
i know what your complaining about. your blaming router problems on them. they do nothing but offer a one stop shop for their members. why go out and buy something seperate. they can sell you one and install it for you. BUT, if there are issues with the functionality of it, why would they support somethign that isnt theirs. they offered to setup the item for you. but, they cant control whether or not the item work.
if you bought a car from used car lot, if it needs repairs, are you going to go to the car lot (that doesnt fix cars) that sold you the car, or are you going to go to a mechanic to fix it? shouldnt be the car lot, they sold you the car, but they dont service them.
also to add, they dont manufacture the modems. the modem is required to be able to access their internet service. so, they will replace the modem. otherwise, their service is absolutely no use to you. but, for a "home network" or should i say a wireless ability that is nothing more than a convenience that they offer.
"they said the router was mine and they do not support routers". this quote is exactly how you put it. they dont support it. they may offer the service. and i totally believe they do. but, when it comes to supporting the device, they clearly told you they dont support it. meaning, if there is a problem with the router or any added problems past their modem, that is where they dont assist.
i completely understand your argument, but you have to understand that just because they offer a lower price to sell you something, it doesnt mean they have to fix it. i worked for AOL quite a few years back. they started offering bundles along with the high speed service. so, someone would get a wirelss router along with their modem. There was minimal support for the router by AOL. it wasnt our gear to be messing with. if there was a problem with it, that is something that you would contact the manufacturer for. they have tech support for their devices. thats the whole purpose of having their own tech support. its obvious that the service that comcast initially provides. so, their hands are clean.
this is a main issue with alot of complaints on these boards. people want to point fingers as to who is responsible. but, the finger is probably pointing in the wrong direction. IE: this one
sounds like whining instead of a complaint
this is why is why i think you dont know anything about how the internet works...other than surfing the internet of course...
"You people just don't seem to get it. Comcast most certainly DOES install wireless Internet. "
no, they dont. they plug 2 wires into the back of a router. that is not "wireless internet". that is wireless capability.
wireless internet would be having a access card from verizon or some other carrier.
what you did is paid too much for a router and for them to plug 2 wires into it. thats what you purhased. they sold you the modem and the hookup. are you too blind to understand that? you obviously should just stop using the internet or use google to look this stuff up.
ok, you dont know how to contact the manufacturer...have you looked at the tag on the router. i know linksys has their information on the tag. HELL, lets go as far as using just the model straight to the computer to use the internet to look it up. thats too much common sense though.
routers are plug and play. there isnt anything that HAS to be done. to resolve issues, the tech support may have gone in and tried setting up manually. but, this isnt required. i have set up many routers in my life. it seriously takes 30 seconds. and a majority of that 30 seconds is waiting for the router to finish powering up.
i could take one of the 5 routers sitting next to me, send it to you and have you simply plug it to the wall outlet and the modem and have it work without any extra steps. so easy a caveman can do it. but, apparently not.
why would they service something that you bought from them? you bought a linksys router from walmart. you dont expect walmart to service it do you? you happen to buy it from comcast to give you the same functionality and service you are from the one you got at walmart.
and i love the dishwasher reference because you dont seem to catch that one either. he installs them. doesnt mean someone is a mechanic to repair it.
get real. take some time and use the internet to find out how stuff works. or, leave it to the grown ups that arent incompetent and want to throw blame around just because they dont know what they are doing.
have you ever thought fontlow that its system issues? cant just say its operating system. could it be, yes.
bad disc drives can cause a computer to hang while starting up. a bad HD, even a secondary drive, could cause a system to not load windows at all.
i have had these happen. so, im not just making this garbage up. do i believe MS is money hungry. YES. they put out two big pieces of garbage. ME and vista. they were put out while they produced the actual software that mattered. ME=XP / Vista=win7.
ive been running xp for a long time. no problems ever. win 7, one of my other computers has it. no probs there either.
why attempt to tarnish a restaurant with something so miniscule. did you allow them to try to fix the mistake?
everyone makes mistakes. including you...by posting something so redonkulous on this site.
why are you cruising the personal ads anyway? not to mention the M4M portion
first off, if you think we are comcast employees, your sadly mistaken. but, go ahead and keep on believing whatever you want to believe. just adds to the ignorance.
the reason why comcast "services their modems" is because you absolutely cannot use the service without a modem. AND they dont do anything to service the modem other than minor troubleshooting and replacing modems. simple as that. if they show a signal going to the home, yet the computer is not connecting, its going to be a computer issue or a problem with the modem. they arent going to fix the modem. they just replace them. if they want to have the modem fixed, guess who they are going to send it to. im guessing that you think comcast is going to actually FIX the modem. nooooo. if resetting the signal from their end or power cycling(plugging and unplugging the modem) doesnt work, thats as much as they are going to do with that modem.
"IF COMCAST HAD TOLD ME UPFRONT THAT IT WAS MY RESPONSIBILITY but they did not. "
like when they said the router was yours? sounds like you need a lesson in reading into things as well. they will fix THEIR equipment. not yours.
and now, its not apples and oranges with walmart vs comcast. you bought a modem from walmart...exactly as you did from comcast. only differenec is that comcast set it up for you the first time. doesnt mean they have to support it. end of story. until you realize that, your going to keep assuming and whining about the wrong things.
so, keep complain...err, i mean whining. go read a book and leave the internet to people that know what they are doing.
