You purchased this stuff in Dec. 2008, so it was on YOUR bed for all these months?

I'm thinking you can't exactly the blame the bedding after all this time. I'm surprised they even took it back.

Compensation? um, no.

And just so you know, Google (the real google) is not associated with this company or any other using the google name to run programs like this.

The only program google runs for earning a little (and I mean a little, not hundreds or thousands a week) is Adsense. And it's free, as are most of google's services.

Well was the product purchased only because you get to use the website?

Probably not.

The website is a bonus. They don't have to provide it all and kids would still like the toys.

rip-off.com took money for what? you don't buy anything there unless you are an advertiser and bought advertising space.

So, exactly how did ROR "exhort" (extort) money from people?

So in essence, your entire post is the fraud. The only fraud I can see anyway.

I don't know anything about windstream, but service is pretty much the same with many companies now. Outsourced to a place whose people speak english so badly most people can't make heads or tails of it. I feel your aggravation.

Taking a saw blade to the checkout counter make you appear like you are shoplifting? Not in any retail business I know of. Unless of course he was trying to hide it under his jacket.

I don't get it. Just because a guy goes a different checkout doesn't make him a shoplifter, nor does it take 4 guys to see if he is paying for it.

I'm not going to address the race issue because I don't see that where I live (small town) but I'd say they were a little over the top obvious about what they were doing.
Um, in case you weren't aware of it, Canada is part of North AMERICA. And Canada has telemarketing laws too. And a do not call list, just like the good old USA.

Besides, we've got plenty of people from the US of A working in ONTARIO too.

In Canada you can't have smokes out for anyone to see. There's no law about lighters, but most of the shops have them up near the cash register so nobody can pocket them. Hasn't got much to do with children, though.

Lighters aren't necessarily and impulse buy, but sometimes yeah. I buy a lot of candles in shops like that. Get to the cash and think "oh yeah, the lighter's nearly finished I better get another". And nobody was selling a lighter to your daughter, though it doesn't make a lot of sense to have lighters way below the eye level of the people who would be buying them.

You couldn't get onto a patio because it was a licensed patio. Eighteen? Um, the law is 19 for liquor here. There are lots of outdoor patios that aren't licensed though.

Hey I don't make the laws. If I did, there'd be a few more, along with a few less of some of the really stupid ones. Like our most recent bylaw...every retailer must charge a customer 5 cents if they want a plastic bag...and they think this is going to save the environment?

Keeping your children safe is the parents job (not to be mean, but it is).

I won't say much more except some of the children I see in shops with their parents...well if they were mine they'd get a swat in the butt instead of a candy bar to make them behave.
Yes, indeed they are scammers.

And they have nothing to do with Google or Google AdSense.

Dispute the charges with your bank. And if you have to cancel your credit card. And file a report with the Attorney General.

Wow, that's bad. I bought my bowflex from a local dealer. The instructions for putting it together weren't right, and we called the dealer who came out and figured out the how to finish the construction of it.

I love my bowflex, but I'm glad I bought it through a store, and not TV or online. It's a good product. If you use it, it does what it says, but I guess the customer service isn't so good from the sound of it.
Um, we've never received a receipt from Tim Horton's - not in the store, nor in the drive through.

You should complain to the fanchise office.

I like their coffee...not so much their chicken salad. It's yucky. They have no clue how to make chicken salad right. And never eat their egg salad either. ugh.

Timmie's is good for coffee, hot chocolate, muffins and bagels. The rest, I wouldn't eat. But the service is becoming noticeably poorer beause franchise owners aren't training staff properly. Out of the dozens in our town, there's two (two of the oldest outlets) where we can count on good service. The others can't even seem to get a coffee order right.
Why would google look into something that has nothing to do with them? They are not affiliated with these people in any way.

If you want someone to look into them (and I agree, these guys need to be put out of business) then file appropriate complaints with the State's Attorney or Attorney General or whoever your local authority is.

Google and their ad service (AdSense) are not involved in this any way.
Well, believe it or not, all families are not Christian, so I don't see how this makes Walmart a store who isn't family friendly.

I am a Christian, and I've read the Harry Potter books to see what all the hype was. They're kids stories. Spells and satanic rituals? Ahhhh, no, none that work.

I'm sure they won't miss one family not shopping there. You know, there are other people in the world, some are atheists, some are muslin, some are hindu, some a buddhist - do you think walmart is only going to cater to Christians?

This has nothing to do with google or Adsense. You need to go back to the site you "bought" your product on.

AdSense is free to use and google never charges anyone for Adsense.

You must have ordered information somewhere online, and it might not be the name of the company who billed you.

I hardly think the blight is due to these stores. Tomato blights strike sometimes every 3rd year, regardless of where the plants or seeds come from. That's about the dumbest thing I've heard in a long time. A lot of time blight is caused by too wet weather or too cool weather, or both, among other things.

Even perfectly healthy plants can develop blight when conditions are right.

Actually, I agree with how you feel about these grants places - all of them are pretty much the same.

But, if you had read the Terms of Service (which is your responsibility as a consumer) then you would have understood you had 7 days from the date of signup to cancel before they began charging you the other fees. It does tell you this, and a whole lot more in the Terms.

The problem you'll discover though, is they actually mean the date of sign up - ie: the date you order the CD. For the most part, it takes more than 7 days for you to even receive this CD. Sneaky. And they count on that.

Sites of this nature should not complete a purchase transaction without having a pop-up box before completion with the Terms of Service. But the Terms of Service are listed on their site, pretty much in the same place every website (well about 90% of them anyway) list the terms. In the footer, at the bottom of the page.

I hope you get your money back, but they only ripped you off because you failed to do what consumer's are supposed to do. Check out the Terms, and research a company. TV programs are no guarantee.
They don't have the right. They just have the gaul.

They can't do anything to an employer who is following privacy laws. I worked in Human Resources, and you are in the right. Had you given the information, the employee (or former employee) could sue you.

Google has absolutely nothing to do with this scam.

It is a scam by companies trading on the Google name. You can try to prosecute Google, but it will cost you a whole lot of money and get you a whole lot of nothing in return.

You need to go after the guys who put out Profit Learning Studio, not google.

The only "profit" program Google has is AdSense, and that is completely free to join and costs nothing in fees at all. Ever.

Where do you get of thinking that Google is "disguising" the identity of the company? Google, as it happens, is a victim of these people using their name. You might want to get your facts straight before you start your lawsuit, cause with those "facts" you'll lose.

There's nothing malicious about this. Hotmail classified it that way because (a) it contains a download link, and (b) it contiains images. Nothing more.

This simply allows you to download the game. I use Oberon games all the time. And your membership allows you to download a free game every month. It's not like you are paying for nothing.

If you don't want it, cancel your membership.

How has you credit card been abused? You bought the software, and since you didn't say, I assume you got the software,

I will never understand why people buy stuff without checking it out first.

If you didn't give out your personal information, they wouldn't be able to process this stuff. The banking industry allows it because you supplyyour information to unscrupulous sites without reading the very fine print.

This has nothing to do with Google.

What an idiot.

You signed up with a scam site using the Google name. Only one you've got to blame here is you, for trying to buy into a "get rich quick" scheme.

Google doesn't have your credit card details because real Google services are free, unless you happened to have purchased some AdWords advertising.

I suggest you take your own advice in the last line. Actually, I suggest you get educated because you could have avoided this scam if you had.
