I am experiencing the same issue with tvaddicts.com. I spent $150.00 on a Lost in Space DVD set and it is out of order and the shows freeze up and skip. No one answers the customer service number ... ever. I tried the online cossresponce 3 times and was assured I would get a refund but nothing was done. I am out $150.00 and don't know how to take legal action against them. Is there any action to take?
I tried that but my bank only goes back 2 months when there is a dispute and tvaddicts strung me along for over 2 months so that it was over the 2 months cutoff and I couldn't lodge a dispute.
Is the company really located in Cananda? I have had a terrible experience with them and can't find out where they are located. There has to be something that one can do do get their money back.
They are in Canada and are under investigation by the RCMP. They go by several different business names. I went through the same thing as all of you. No answer on the phone. No answer to my emails but I did have many online chat conversations where they kept telling me they will credit my account and they never do. When I try to get manager information they end the session. No recourse from Bank since too much time has passed.
RUN DON"T WALK RUN TO YOUR BANK AND DISPUTE THE CLAIM. Don't let any time pass. I was on the phone with the RCMP for 35 minutes yesterday where they are being investigated. They are located in Canada. If they send you anything at all it will be poor quality and they will not send you a replacement or refund money.
