USA SEO Pros is one of the worst scams I have ever encountered.
In early 2007 I was cold-called by these people. At the time I was woefully undereducated about search-engine optimization, and when I was promised a #1 ranking on Google and other search engines, I blissfully plunked down about $1100 for their services.
The service I received:
The creation of about a dozen different webpages each for a different keyword, filled with useless content scavenged from the internet, all cross-linked to each other. I sell Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) and many of the pages were filled with information for Male-sex-with-Males... Great research, folks.
I called to complain, and was told that these pages would be "improved", but never were.
Net result: zero traffic increase, zero refund, and our website was hacked - files corrupted and pornography hidden away in obscure subdirectories. These are the only other people in the world who knew my ftp password, so it had to be them, or someone that worked for them, or they sold my password to a pornographer.
They promised me the world, and their website looks slick. STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE. If they contact you, hang up. Any rebuttals posted to complaint boards are either from company employees or paid shills. THESE PEOPLE ARE CRIMINALS.
I was ripped off by these people to the tune of $1500.00, and had virtually no increase in sales. The websites they created to drive traffic to my business were a jumble of randomly-generated text, some of which was sexually explicit in nature and had nothing to do with my product. Add to that the fact that they filled my server with pornography (they were the only other people who knew my FTP password, so it's a no-brainer that someone on their staff did this), and you have an idea of what kind of business these people are running. Their sales techniques are deceptive and high-pressure. If anyone from this company calls you, hang up. Any positive comments relating to this company are obviously planted.
@Humor_Me: Yikes. That is downright scary. After we put our story all over the net, Budget called back, apologize for our nightmare and offered to refund the balance of our rental cost. That was the right thing to do, but obviously the repairs on this truck were not thorough in the slightest. Refer them to this complaint page and let them know you want a replacement truck at once. Good luck!
The webpage is deceptive in the extreme. The implication is that the cream is optional, and they are banking on the fact that people will read it this way, even though they can use "weasel logic" to argue that it's plainly stated the "Bonus" is a part of the deal. Secondly, any website that traps you with a "confirmation" box when you close the page or tab is automatically classified as sleazy in my book. Too many complaints. The simple fact that the device itself is nothing but snake oil is the final nail in its coffin. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this website, and from useless products in general.
After reading all the comments, it is likely that the folks saying nice things about Capital Meats are shills for the company. Too many unpleasant experiences for comfort to make dealing with them worth the risk.
The spam email that Zbiddy sends out screams "OverstockedAuction!" What surprises me is that so many people think they are at Overstock.com when they click on the link. The simple fact that they spam shamelessly, combined with the fact that - like almost all UCE - their advertisements are supremely deceptive, should be enough to keep people far away from their business. Tragically, they seem to be doing a thriving business preying upon the unwary.
