Try taking Fish & Wells Fargo to small claims court sounds like the have broke some laws maybe? File some legal complaints give them a headache right back, read online to see if they broke any lending laws or rules.
Hell Depot has no records of your dishwasher being refused/returned and no refunds being issued, no knowledge of this whole thing and after spending all that time informing them and still they produce no refund? That's somewhat the nature of my complaint it took me 2 days to find out the simplest thing of which after dealing with them I am not still completely certain of anyways. Doug you spent 45 minutes on the phone? Hell Depot has no efficient way of refunding or knowing what is going on with their own orders & sales, how about offering a fax number for CC info? Hell Depot only makes a few billion in profits each year you'd think they could afford a fax number.

Home Depot's name should be ###sRus
BrrrrCold I think unless the employed that stop to check your bag was rude and unfriendly your feelings are a bit off about this. The stores have a right to keep from being stolen from there's certainly no shortage of thieves in this society put yourself in their shoes someone walking out with a bag that they couldn't tell that was check out in their location. Probably since you have that illness that makes you sensitive to cold that it made this experience seem worse than it was, you also seem to be ultra sensitive to things that go even slightly negative for your all important self. Sometimes you see this with people who grow up with illnesses they are over protected all their life and are spoiled, they think the whole world was created only for them and their needs.

Sam's Club is not a hospital . "If parking spots are provided an equal number of handicapped chairs and scooters should also be available or quickly become available, not hour long waits! " were is this law written? You talk like the whole world is suppose to revolve around you, bring a wheel chair if you don't like waiting. Stores are limited to what conveniences they can provide it's understandable that a place like Sam's Club has a lot of people using the scooters they have the lowest prices and the elderly & sick who have the lower incomes shop there a lot.
On the page you purchase the hard drive scroll way down on the Details tab it says "Standard Return Policy" click that and it says nothing about you paying the shipping fee for returns.

I don't like this newegg policy they are deceptive about it and have it buried on their web site the information is very hard to find you have to look around a lot, on their FAQ Search Results put in "shipping " and scroll more than half down, it says "Does Newegg pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise?"

"No, Newegg does not pay the return shipping cost for defective merchandise. We are not responsible for product defects, because we do not manufacture the products we carry. However, if you pay to send the item back to Newegg, we will replace the item and ship the replacement to you at no charge. Newegg will employ every resource it has to ensure that your item is replaced promptly, without hassle." .

Which is why you find constant warnings on the web not to do business with people that only sell by Western Union and Bank transfer. Try doing some research before dealing with anybody, it is an evil world you make the littlest mistake and people will take advantage of you. Even if stores do honest business many times it isn't because they are honest but because a bad reputation for burning people will either put you out business or vastly reduce your profits! Greed for money is actually what keeps most companies having some kind of business honesty it is not really done from a good motive. I guess there are some exceptions to this but they are hard to find.
This is why you should always make purchase with credit card where ever possible the credit card companies do a pretty good job of protecting your purchase. If you bought it with a credit card notify your credit card company of the problem they should protect you. A credit card statement is at least some kind of proof that might work in a small claims court in case you need/want to go that direction. Also threatening to report something to your credit card company or threatening to spread the news about the ripoff all over the web, file a complaint with the BBB, etc. sometimes makes the crooked companies fix the problem too.

I have friends who are honest they are from Taiwan they visited China 3 or 4 years ago they said the whole government is corrupt and takes bribes (like Mexico). Much of the regular population aren't much different also with the pressure of living in terrible poverty many probably could care less about being ethical they are just hoping to survive. Or maybe they already have enough money but are just greedy about getting more and could care less about robing anyone on the web this way.

I looked into this a few years ago sounded a little to good to be true. When I saw you have to commit to a contract before you can really see what products is in the catalogs that was the red flag for me I know people who do honest business don't cover up things like this and having to pay to find out something so simple for them to disclose is just too obvious it's a scam. Then I research them on the web the list of complaints & misery is huge!

I think Direct Buy ( really Direct Lie) actually do let some people have some great buys from time to time just to keep some reports of satisfied customers out there. They also use some of these praise reports on their commercials to keep suckers baited.
What do you expect from these Scrooge people they had a policy in their local banks that Chase is not allowed to display Christmas trees in their lobbies they had to change this policy due to organized public outrage.
Place a complaint on the Do not call web site it's short and easy to do they are in danger of a 20, 000 dollar fine or some sum like that. Also phones services like Comcast have a block caller list that works like a charm see if your phone service provides that or get one that does.
Common sense doesn't really any have Common sense, I agree with twime, twime didn't give enough details to determine whether they are careless spending habits. I understand twime's being upset, I am surprised they haven't run into this sort of deception from more business, a lot of them only tell you half truths or various tricks & distortions to get your money.
twime you almost have to be apart time lawyer reading and studying any finical contracts along with searching on the web to see about the nature of complaints against a company etc. Business take advantage of people who don't think too much about what they are doing and just act on the "surface" information they give you. Later on you find out the bad details they purposely avoided telling you or made hard for you to find out. Click on my Little Nipper ID and see my newegg reply, they use the half truth/cover up method on their returns shipping policy to stick unwary people with the shipping charges even if the item is defective.
BBB is a scam racket if you pay to be a member for your business they will see to it you get a good rating no matter how many complaints are filed, BBB will see to it that any complaints are successfully resolved or the complaint made void in one way or another. BBB is a privately own business it has nothing to do with the government or US legal system in any way.

If you have no business membership with the BBB then even if you get like one complaint you get rated like a C- or even a F rating to pressure you to pay for a membership with the BBB. I have had business people say to me they know BBB is a scam racket but that they join anyways since the BBB membership logo, rating etc. help increase their finical intake and their number of customers goes up .

BBB is all what people tend to perceive it means "reliability, trustworthiness" when in reality it is no such thing, in fact it could mean the exact opposite it is use by bad businesses to achieve and air of credibility instantly out of thin air just because so many ignorant people in it, like the Greeks believe in mythology like Zeus etc. but had no factual reason to do so.
You might be better off staying single anyways since there is such terrible calamities in relationships & marriages now a days. My head spins from hearing about the divorces everywhere with people we know and in our neighborhood plus the terrible trouble teenagers get into as well, the grief they cause their parents .

Another thing is the internet is a terrible way to try to meet someone it's enticing though it seems great but it's all fool's gold. My advice is if you must have a relationship try to meet people in person in a group situation where you just do things together as friends. The problem with relationships is that people cover up their defects until it is too late after marriage you find they have a anger problem etc..

Yes their web site always says the product is in stock but many times it is not they want you to wait many extra days even weeks for them to try to get the item while they try to come up with it somehow. They seem to have very poor suppliers. That's a very bad way to do business it will catch up with them someday.
