Pro Seniors

I am going through a divorce, just turned 60, and called Legal Aid for help. They referred me to a group known as "Pro Seniors". After a lengthy and condescending phone interview, I was set up with a "free consultation" with an attorney, who called two days later. This attorney would answer NO questions, but only gave me the phone numbers of the Dayton Bar Assoc. and the Bar Assoc. in Columbus. ?! After this, I went onto the website of this non-profit and found that they do not handle divorces, nor do they have dealings in my county! My opinion is that they took my referral (and lots of very private info) simply to ensure that they could keep getting their funding, based on the number of people they "help." Good luck to anyone that has dealings with this agency, as I believe they are quite deceptive in their practices.
