I do not know, if you received this review... We are not children, if you would have completed your work in the time frame agreed, you, nor your worker would never have seen my pstd in action.
This is october and we hired you in august, and the work is still not completed. When you steal from a veteran veteran, you should expect some words of anger. Just think, you took my money without cursing... Yeah! You did not finish my work without cursing... Yeah! You called me early in the money for you pay without cursing... Yeah! You left all the debris for about ten days without cursing... Yeah! You still have not completed the work you were paid for without cursing... Yeah! I have the pictures, the statement from the bank when I tried to cancel the check.
Therefore, I now believe that all your positive reviews must be false and posted by friends or family.
As a veteran advocating for myself and other veterans that are targeted by such scammers. The work is not complete, and the only thing removed was the owner, who talked about what he "will" do.
I believe that if I don't begin these court proceedings, the work; gate, and side panels under the porch would never be completed. The very last time removed worker came (because removed never came to check his worker's incomplete work), he did nothing but leave a stain on our fresh paved cemented driveway. Parked his car, talked about what he had to do for other clients and departed.
A much talk company... The action is receiving money illegally.

Recommendation: Get better professional who will respect your marriage and home.
You have the pictures, the bank statement, and the contract, so stop waiting on them. Send Powellandsons one final written demand with the agreed completion date, the work still outstanding, and a 10 day deadline to finish or refund in full. Copy your state's consumer protection office and the contractor licensing board in that same email. Then file the small claims case, you have enough evidence and a timeline that speaks for itself. If they are licensed, a board complaint can hurt them more than court. You paid for work, not excuses.
