Poe Equipment Sales review: Took deposit on a machine already sold.

On February 22nd, 2022 I gave Scott Hamon $2500 deposit for a Caterpillar 289D track loader. The deposit was good to hold the machine through March 15th. On March 8th, I arrived in Fort Lauderdale Florida to pick up the machine. I then found that Scott didn't own the machine and was acting as a marketer for Machinery Madness LLC. They told me that the machine was sold. I then was able to purchase an older and different machine from that business. Scott would not return calls that day.

Scott became increasingly hard to get ahold of to talk to. I was able to reach him a few days later and tell him about the purchase and that I wanted a refund of the $2500 deposit as the machine was sold. He now has become completely unresponsive to any communications.
