Pipex Terrible service

I decided to change providers and was advised by my new provider that they would contact Pipex and sort the process out. The changeover was scheduled for beginning of March. I was surprised to receive an account from Pipex, informing me that my service was going to discontinued should I not pay the outstanding amount, and that I should contact customer services, which I proceeded to do. Customer serices advised me that I definitely still had an account with Pipex and that there was no such record of me moving to the new company. I tried to no avail to explain to the customer services person that this was not the case; my broadband service with Pipex which had ceased to be available from the time of the changeover indicated this. She then advised me to contact the Pipex cancellation department and that they would verifiy that I was still with Pipex. I explained to her that surely this was her job and not mine; she informed me that she could not phone out. I contacted the cancellations department, who assured me that I was no longer with Pipex and that I had indeed change over. The onus apparently was still on me to sort out the problem. I contacted Pipex customer service department, who admitted that I was no longer with them. I requested a final account; as I pointed out to them that my line rental etc. is paid in advance and that I wanted some resolution and to know exactly what I owed them for. I was told this would arrive in May. However I have receive a letter today, informing me that my service will be discontinued, and that a £25 admin fee has been added to my account and that my details are due to be passed on to credit reference agencies which might affect my ability to gain credit in the future. I contacted Pipex and was told to call back as their system is down. I requested that they contact me, however apparently this is not possible. I have was absolutely hours (this is no exaggeration). It is costing me time, money and unnecessary frustration and stress. This has been going on for nearly two months now. This is not the first time I have had problems with Pipex. I am at my wits end as to know what to do.

i paid my mothers phone bill and 2 days later it was cut off. there was no reason for this. it has been 3 weeks and its still not been put back on. we have made number of phonecalls to pipex but keep getting told it will be back on but it is not. i find pipex attitude disgusting and there was no reason what so ever to cut my mothers phone off. we will be taking the complaint further.

Pipex paid bill dispute

i paid a pyment at barcleys bank to pipex on the 1st of april 2009 pipex have now barred my phone as hey havnt recived this payment i went to my local barcleys bank and they showed me that pipex have recived this payment already and they have no right disconnectin me i sent the recipt to pipex to confirm the payment and they wrote to me to confirm that they recived my letter and recipt and it wasnt good enuf i dont see what else i can do but i can tell you this pipex customer service is terrible and what annoys me is that they have had since april to sort this out i am gettin nowhere with them its just argument after argument and its makin me ill have you got any advice for me thankyou

i left pipex in march this yr and ive had no end of problems firstly my old number is still ringing as i wanted a new number with my new phone company then pipex sent me a bill of 13 90 no reasons given i was informed when i told them i was going i wouldnt have to pay anything more what can i do? i have let other complaints departments know but they are saying i need more dates of when i first sent the paper work well of course you dont always keep dates do i pay it in the hope they leave me alone or what?its really stressing me out i thought once i went to another phone provider that would be it does anyone have the complaints number?or email i find it all very stressfull and there customer service are so rude they tell lies they say iam owed a refund i never got that instead i get another bill any advice most welcome and pipex if you read this your know what stress you put people under you ought to be really asshamed of yourselfs your the worst company ive ever had dealings with

i am being continually harassed over the telephone by an employee of pipex or talk talk named IRIS 18173 finance dept. making claims that i am in debt to the company i do have an account with pipex but everything is paid through my bank by direct debit my husband and myself are in our seventies and we do not want to live under a life of threats of telephone disconnection. it seems that the takeover of pipex by talk talk is the problem and we will move our business elsewhere

hi i have same problem i have been with toucan for 2 and half years never got cut off. pipex take over the service and i have had my service cut every month since then due to them losing payments. its becoming habit now to pay the bill then phone customer service, then email receipt . still currently without phone just got broadband.
