Pioneer worked on our warehouse facility to install water pipelines for evaporative cooling. They provided a quote pretty fast and did the job in less than two days. Great customer service and very skilled tradespeople.

She listened to the air conditioning problem and fixed it in short order. Very professional. I am happy to recommend them!

Pioneer Plumbing was very prompt and professional in dealing with a recent sewer backup. They also had the skills needed to assess the source of the blockage and provided me with advice for dealing with the City of Vancouver to prevent future problems. When an incident related to my plumbing occurred the following day and Joe was not available the manager Ray came to assist. Shareef came to install 3 New Faucets (Kitchen, Bathroom and Shower) and also to fix a Toilet. Pioneer Plumbing did my annual furnace maintenance service this week. They provided the same excellent service I have come to expect from them. The technicians were on time, courteous, professional and efficient. They communicated really well. Also, they followed all the new Covid regulations: they arrived wearing masks, used hand sanitizer, covered their shoes while they worked, maintained social distancing with me, and provided contactless payment. I really like this company.

I have used them on other occasion and they have been OK, So when my sump pump overflow alarm was chirping, I decided to make a service call just to be sure there is nothing wrong with the pump. I even told the lady on the phone that it is most likely a low battery problem. But to charge $255 for a change of a 9V battery that was provided my myself just didn't make sense to me. For all potential customer of this company, you are advised to make sure you are aware of the "Call-Out" Fee of $169 + min 30 minutes labor + parts.

I have used Pioneer for regular plumbing in the past and found them competent. However when Pioneer inspected my older boiler system they incorrectly identified pumps not working , expansion tanks full, boiler drain leaking ,air scoop is sucking air. *** Pioneer is the second company to simply recommend replacing an existing heating system because it is easier to present to a senior home owner and of course much more profitable.

We knew Pioneer Plumbing from our kitchen renovation 5years ago and we kept their number as we impressed their performance from it. Our kitchen sink stubbornly clogged 2 weeks ago and needed to call professional help after we experimented few unclogging tricks. We live in Langley and it will be a small job, so we thought we could just give a quick call to a plumber in our neighborhood and not bother calling Pioneer from Vancouver, but we knew who to trust. Fortunately, they offer services during this COVID time. A technician wearing a heavy-duty mask came on the next day (we asked them to come on weekdays:) ) quickly replaced a pipe for easy access for auger and unclogged drain and cleaned up the area. Everything was done in a professional manner as expected! We highly recommend them and definitely call them again for any plumbing problems! Thank you!

I am very unhappy with Pioneer Plumbing & Heating Inc's service. I asked this company to fix a clogged kitchen sink for me. They sent a person with a very rude manner. At the end of the job, when I asked for a breakdown of total amount, he said I wished the company had informed you about the prizing. I replied that I did not know about much the time he spent on the job and the parts he used for me. He then said I could take out the parts now if you like. I had to tell him immediately that I had the right to asked for the breakdown. Worse, this plumber from Pioneer Plumbing had been coughing while he was working inside my kitchen. At that time, I wanted to ask him to leave my house for safety sake; however, I could not because he had 75 feet of snake inserted into my kitchen pipe and had difficulties pulling it out. In this pandemic season, I think Pioneer Plumbing should not send out anybody with any COVID-19 symptoms to work for its customers. What can I say? I hired Pioneer Plumbing because it was a ComplaintsBoard.com member. However I now realize that not all ComplaintsBoard.com member companies are good.

I requested service to replace a faulty pressure / thermostatic valve in my shower as it worked but didn't hold temperature steady. Provided information, all the part numbers & photos. They didn't bother ordering the valve. The plumber came & spent 1.5 hours "debugging" the problem. Plumber said that the valve had become completely seized. No water was flow, so the entire fixture would need replacement. Said he called to order replacement & should only take a couple of days. Originally I was told I wouldn't be charged until the job was completed. This was repeated by the plumber who came to do the job. However, the very next day they invoiced me claiming "month-end" & charged me anyways. After several days delay, I had to request status update & they told me the part was not available. (Not true, see below) Manager come in to take look, said the entire thing needed replacement & either need to cut out the wall from behind or take out the shower tiles so they could do the work. He'd go back to find the replacement parts that they would need and advise I waited 2 weeks and ZERO response regarding possible solutions. I finally caved and took the SAME information to a local bath outfitter shop, they were able to find the replacement thermostatic valve for me within 3 days. Not only did they order a valve in for me just in case, they directed me to a well-known supplier used by many local plumbers & contractors, only 2 km away from their Pioneer's office in Vancouver. They had 2 of these valves IN STOCK. I picked it up, installed it myself and got things working in less than 1.5 hours. The valve was not broken, the plumber had just turned off the check valves. Nothing they said was true***. I would never use them again.

I had a problem with my air conditioner, it only works for a few hours and then stops. I called Pioneer Plumbing, Heating & Cooling in July to fix it. They changed the control board and fan, and charged me $2894.33. But after I paid, it still only works for a few hours. They diagnosed the problem wrong and didn't send me the warranty for the materials they changed. I spent one and a half months and $2894.33, but the problem still exists. The invoice is attached. They made things inconvenient for me, and I had to find another company to fix it. I want my money back.

My bathroom upstairs was leaking water through the ceiling of our downstairs bathroom. Pioneer Plumbing came to fix the problem the first time and I paid them. But then it started leaking again. I phoned Pioneer Plumbing again and they sent someone out. They said it wasn't because of the work they did and that it wasn't under warranty. They fixed the new leaks and I paid for their service again. Two weeks later, the same problem happened and water was pouring into the downstairs bathroom. I phoned the company and Megan the receptionist said she would get a hold of the manager and book someone in the next day to come have a look at what's going on. But no one showed up for my scheduled appointment and no one phoned me. What kind of business does this with long-standing clients? They didn't address poor workmanship and warranty for their work as a company.

Pioneer Plumbing came to my house on December 29, 2022 cuz there was a leaky water supply line from the city that fed water to my house. One dude was there by 2:30, he said he would get an apprentice to help dig-when the apprentice it turned out he had bad back and couldn't help. A second apprentice did show up quite a bit later. The original bill for $1,604.96 said 3 holes were dug (actually I had dug the first hole myself) so they had only dug 2. The first technician came back the next day alone, then decided to call another apprentice who basically stood around waiting for instructions from the first technician and we finished the job about 2 hours later. During this whole project the tech was in touch with his manager, and they okayed the $1,604.96 and I paid right on the spot. A few days later I recommended Pioneer plumbing for a much larger job for a condominium that I was on the strata council for. About 5 days later on January 5, 2023, I got an additional bill for $530.88, before I could even respond to question it they had taken this amount without my consent from my credit card. The technician said he would look into it, I never heard back from him. I called their office and spoke with someone who said she would clarify what the bills were for and get back to me. I also asked for some before and after pictures as was promised and stated on the bill. I never heard back from them. At one point the $530.88 was credited back to my account and I then was billed again on January 16, 2023, and once again withdrawn without my consent with less detail on the invoice than before for $530.88. They told me that they had the right to withdraw the $530.88 without consent because it was part of the same job.
