Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous service when replacing our water heater in February. JBlanton also replaced a bad shower valve last summer. Definitely would use the company again.

Great service and work by Lou! I had an emergency pipe leaking through the wall all over my floor late on a Sunday night. Lou came within 2 hours of calling, explained what was happening and why and fixed it promptly. He was professional and fun to talk to. If I need plumbing work done again I will call J Blanton. These guys did such a great job with the difficult conditions my condo produced. Chip and Rob were always on time, super respectful of me, my condo, my 3 super friendly dogs, and of social distancing standards and mask wearing. My neighbor called J Blanton Plumbing to rod the sewer lines in the building. Their rod ended up coming up through my toilet and breaking it. J Blanton stated that they are not responsible for what their rod does after it enters the sewer line. Now I'm on my own to replace a toilet that was broken by a plumber that I didn't call. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

We use J Blanton Plumbing for all of our plumbing needs. I can't say enough good things about Jake Blanton. He was very prompt in coming out on a weekend when we called. He was 100% knowledgable about our issues and answered all of our questions. Turned out we didn't really need a sewer rodding. Although he did rod a little bit and got out a few roots, he didn't even charge us at all! So appreciative of this company! Highly recommend!

One of my tenants had a leak coming from their bathtub faucet so I decided to call this company. Jake and Clayton came to my property the next day and assessed the problem immediately. They told me the total cost for repair and they also notified me of another problem in terms of the bathtub drain which had a massive accumulation of hair. They were able to perform the repair as well as rodding out the blockage in the bathtub drain. Both Jake and Clayton were very professional and the work that they provided is covered under warranty. Jake also gave me a possible estimate of some work I wanted to do in my basement. I was very pleased with everything that happened today with J Blanton Plumbing and definitely will use them in the future.

J. *** just contacted me - well, they emailed and texted me but addressed it to some other name - to ask me to review a job they did two years ago that I already reviewed on Google after their guy bullied me into doing it. As they summarized it, the job was "sewer line hydro-jetting, and valve maintenance" - taken on its own, it was satisfactory, but it's a pretty low bar for anyone licensed to do plumbing work, and there are plenty of alternatives to ***. As blandly satisfactory as it was, the jetting and maintenance were not the only components of the experience. Their guy told me that the only way to stop the back ups was to run the line along the basement ceiling instead of under the floor. OK, but we had just spent $15K with *** the previous year to solve this problem "once and for all." He acted as though, perhaps, the clearly superior ceiling solution was a new innovation since the $15K work they did, and then added that he "remembered" that *** tried, but just could not pitch the line to the optimal angle for flow. They COULD NOT pitch it appropriately, poor dears, in those Dark Ages of 12 months ago. All the while, he was putting *** stickers all around my basement on systems he thought *** should be servicing for us, then gave me a sob story about how I needed to fill out a customer satisfaction review and give him five stars so he could beat out another guy with whom he was running neck-and-neck in the ratings game for some trip prize. He insisted that I get on my computer RIGHT NOW and fill out the survey, and I was afraid he wouldn't leave until I did so. He sat down right behind me and watched me log into my computer and access the survey, which was only about as creepy as being pressured into doing the survey right away in the first place (and seeing all these *** stickers growing in my home.) Needless to say, we have not used *** in the two years since then, but that does not stop them from sending requests for additional reviews to me (or to some other guy who they think uses my phone and email address?). We had used them for 14 years, but this experience made me realize that they probably just think of us as a gullible cash cow. (One star because ComplaintsBoard.com does not allow 0.)
