I bought a 15 piece knife set from JC Penneys about a year ago made by Philippe Richard. 3 months ago the bone shears broke in half while cutting ribs, isn't that what they are made for? We let that go. Now, the scissors broke and the knives are starting to rust. I would never buy a Philippe Richard product again, we are very disappointed. And since they don't have a website to submit complaints to, I am posting this to warn anyone who wants to buy a Philippe Richard product...Don't! Since they are expensive, you think it's something that will last a long time, I even thought maybe the knives would have a lifetime warranty since they are stainless steel, nope! Guess i'll do my research next time.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I have the set, but to let to return they have a rusty spots, I'm a very disappointed customers
Manufactured on 1/2014, used only a few times, while building pressure today it exploded, the gasket failed, thankfully I was the only in the kitchen at the time. Burned my entire abdomen, this is a very dangerous and needs to be recalled
I too bought mine from Penny's, the 26 piece set. And the scissors broke on a chicken within 3 months and they do not slice well at all. I will never buy one of their products again.These are not quality. They are garbage.
I bought the 26 piece from jc penneys 6yrs.i have had no problems with the set and was on here to buy another set.when you buy knifes with quality people don't realize that you have to hand wash them.not everything is made for the dishwasher that's were the rust comes in.
I had the very same happen to me. I bought the 21 piece knife set from JC Penney's also. I have had them rush very badly, and even a couple of knives have broken. The tips broke off of them. I am very careful and barely use some of them, only to find out they are rusted. JC Penney's tells me to look on their website or call them, but they have no website or phone number. Sounds like a scam to me. I will never ever waste my money on that crap. RIDICULOUS!
Mine are also rusting and its only been 5 months!
