I did some drywall work for him a while back (years) and he was only taking cash payments from customers, undercutting quotes from reputable contractors.

this gentleman rear ended me march 6 2014, agreed to settle away from insurance, then made an insurance claim against me. luckily my insurance company is fighting hard on my behalf, and now as I write this, 246 days later, we have yet to close the file. tread with caution. unfortunately many people will not research this person before, but rather after being stung by him.

Peter has expanded into buying vehicles from Calgary Salvage, getting them fixed & selling them. Watch out if talking to him about a vehicle. He hasn't gotten more honest. He strung me along for 2 weeks, promising the delivery of a particular car, then started with the excuses/reasons. Cost me money while used a rental. I thought the extra rental fees were worth it if the deal had come through.

Peter worked in my basement. He promised to complete the basement within 2 months; however, did not finish the basement till 4 months. Peter got his remaining of the money from me by showing his bills of payments, which I gave him as I thought he is a good guy. Peter still have to complete my washroom's work. I called him back and he told me that he is not coming back as he did not make enough money from my basement. I told him that I did not ask anything else other then stated in the contract. I told him that I will take you to the court; but this ###ing guy did not even care. He ran out and got rest of my money. peter you are such a liar, and I will not spare you alone. I am talking to my lawyer and soon he will call you in the court. So you can hide where ever you want but once you get the court's document then I will see you there. So Peter run and hide! I worked hard to earn my money and I will not let you enjoy my money for free.

Petr Kluz spent 8 months in jail in his native country for an extortion. He and his wife are a bogus refugee claimants. Be careful he is a dangerous man.

I recently hired him for a job and he is the worst contractor I have ever dealt with. He will ask for money but never finish his job. He will take advances< and the minute you do he will disappear to finish another poor fellows job he is 'double dipping" with yours.
He currently works a construction company and I highly recommend the construction to fire him for he is not trustworthy, sweet talker with no basis to his comments, and a chronic liar! His best line " I am home depot and will be there in half hour"

I have referred my case to our lawyer who is following up on his work. The police have also been notified and checking into his immigration case.

Do not hesitate. Report him to the Calgary Police or Canadian Border Services Agency. He and his wife are illegal immigrants. He is also involved in people smuggling scheme. Call the company who is he works full time now and tell them that his Social Insurance Number is expired or fake. We have to stop this ### for good.

Hi, I totally agree with all the negative comments about Peter Kluz. We were promised by Peter that "everything will be done by end of September" dont worry! Its December now and our basement is not even half way done. He is a big liar, his kids are always sick and he is always sick as well. Either his car is broken or the weather is stopping him from coming to work. He will ask for money upfront to buy material, he will use your money to finish other jobs. After taking the money he wont show up for a whole week. He will come for a few hours and go buy material for your bathroom for the rest of the day. At the end of the day he will come up with nothing and will tell you he spent the whole day looking for the material. This dialogue will go on and on day in and day out.
Peter Kluz is the worst contractor one can hire. I am living in a mess because of him. Its been 3 months since i moved in to my new house. I cant even invite friends over as my house is a living hell.

Yes! Peter Kluz is a professional crook. He and his wife Martina are also illegal immigrants, they have serious issues with Canada Border Services Agency. Please do not hesitate and report them to the CBSA or Calgary Police.

I agree that you should not use peter. He has a good heart but is a TERRIBLE contractor. You shouldn't use any contractor that needs your to pay them so they can get materials. You also should use any contractor that barely has a car! He is very unreliable and will leave you hanging before the job is finished. He claims he knows all the inspectors but never seems to call them in to look at his work. He is untrustworthy and not good at what he does.

All the above also happened to me. Always asking for more money, never comes back to do work, uses material from other job ( I know this because he bring stuff in that we did not agree on and one of his other consumers contacted me informing he stole material from their work site ). He would ask sub trades to do the work and they never get paid! Hence they start coming after you for the money which you already gave to Mr Petr Kluz. Let stop this now.. call SERVICE CANADA NOW and report this person. He does not have a permit plus I was told he is an illegal immigrant. After knowing all this, I was afraid to let him into my house.

I still remember him telling me, " DON'T WORRY, I WILL FINISH YOU JOB NO MATTER WHAT... MY DAD TAUGHT ME NEVER TO GIVE UP!" Not sure if his Dad is still alive but I would be very sad to have him as my son. I don't think his Dad would teach him to steal from hard working people and rip them off for as much money as possible before taking off to another job. What goes around comes around and hopefully Petr will get whats coming to him. Pls report him to Service Canada since there are way too many of us being ripped off him.

DO NOT TRUST PETR KLUZ! He will take your money up front saying he needs it for materials and he needs to buy or order material ahead of time. He does not come back and if you call him he does not answer his phone. He will make you think he is a nice guy he always says "don' t worry" .I will be there and then doesn't come. You can't trust Petr Kluz. He did not do the work to code. He will say he is sick or there is always an excuse he can't come do the work then he will call and call for more money. Pls if you had renos done by him pls check all permits. We had to hire another contractor to finish the job properly as Petr Kluz took off with the money.

We hired Peter Kluz to finish our basement. We feel it was the most horrifying experience. He would promise to come and would not show up. He would ask for more money and deposits and said he would have to buy material to finish job and he wouldn't show up for days or weeks. He didn't finish the job. We feel he takes advantage of your kindess and understanding. He will tell you that he is short or money. We feel that he used material that was stolen from other jobs. The excess material he bought he used for other jobs. He is unreliable. He will lie. He will just take your money. We do not want other people to experience what horrible experience we had.

Petr will rip you off for as much money as possible. Don't trust him.. Don't even let him in your house. I also hired him and he never finish the job. He keep asking for cash up front saying stuff like, I am a bit short and need the money to buy the material to finish the job. He takes off and come back and do very little and ask for more money. Getting rip off is one thing but thing he does is not up to code. For example, I got my fireplace done only to find out it was not to code. Mr Fireplace pulled out all the wires and turn off the gas stating my house might burn down if I continue to use. Please.. if you had a fireplace put in by Petr Kluz... get it checked since he say, " don't worry, I have installed thousands of fireplaces..." Unfortunately if you have an enclose fireplace, you might need to ripe out one side to check since he the duct work is totally install incorrectly.

Beware.. He seem nice but they all do when they want your money..

I've known and worked for petr for many years...we do the highest quality of work that can be done...I am a drywall contractor and have done over 100 Basements, Reno's, Custom Homes for Petr and have to tell you this is something else... Where is all the stuff about how many home owners rip us off and try and drop prices...what about all the times we bend backwards for people and pay out of our own pockets if need be to make their Projects perfect ? Always somebody complaining... Anyhow people Petr Is a good guy, and would give you the shirt off his back...I would Consider him One of the honest people I know...And no one can come close to the quality workmanship we have :)
