Hi . Am Jaganathan here being in purchase of 3rd perodua model . Now extremely dissapointed on the long waiting time for Perodua .
I had placed my booking at Lon G setia Auto Sdn Bhd at PJ under sales peron Arif managed by ZFC manager Mahadir Mohamad Azadir in Mar and informed that max waiting period is 5 months . Heard from other friends that actual lead time is more than that where they are so frustrated that changed over to other models. Booked on April 10th and was asked to update in Ufirst app on Apr 1st . Both should be done concurrently to avoid delay .
Perodua should be vigilant in improving their timeliness in lie of recent Daihatsu fiasco . Loyal buyers are affected where they have to keep incurring depreciating for trade in and maintenance while buyers incur these opportunity cost.
Therefore I hope that Perodua take plight of this and be honest on their issues. They should take responsibility to stop bookings and settlle backlogs first so that customers do not have to incur delays and commitment has to be met. Customers should be compensated if delays incur similar to LAD to ensure rights are protected.
