This product is not as easy to install as the videos make it seem. It was a real headache trying to get it to fit properly. I had to go out and buy some washers to shim the mounting clamps. Even after taking the panel assembly in and out three times, I still had to shim the clamps to get it to track right. And to make matters worse, it leaks like a sieve. I called Peragon and they sent me a new head rail, but it still leaks. The water is dripping in between the panels, even the third seam in from the tailgate. I can't even haul my camping and fishing gear without everything getting wet. The panels are flimsy and I'm afraid that even a small dead branch falling from my tree will damage it. I ended up returning it and it was a real pain trying to repackage it, even with the original boxes. I'm glad I got my money back and I'm going to get a Diamondback instead.

This cover from Peragon Enterprises is not worth the money. If you have had a good cover before, you will definitely hate this one. The rubber gaskets in between the accordion panels are stuck on with sticky material, and the heat melts the material causing the rubber to peel off. This makes it easy for water to get right in. The caps for the ends fell off the first day, which is a huge disappointment.

Opening the cover is not easy, especially when it is hot outside. You can't push down to open because your hands will burn. This is a major design flaw that should have been addressed before the product was released.

Peragon Enterprises wants you to keep the original boxes if you have issues and will only accept original packaging. This is a hassle for customers who don't want to store those big boxes and pay for shipping.

If you are thinking of getting any of the add-ons at purchase, think again. I got the rubber gasket, and it came with no instructions. When you call for help, it is hard to understand where it is supposed to go. You have to be able to push down the accordions to open, which makes a large part of the bed unusable. If something in the bed slides back there, you have to crawl in the back of the bed to try to move the items.

Overall, this is a very poor design, especially for Florida weather. It is not worth the money, and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I made my selections and found out that the cover wouldn't be available to ship until July 17th. Dang it!

I thought I'd give it a try and sent him a PM explaining my problem. I placed my order over the phone on July 3rd and was promised the cover would ship no later than July 10th so I would have time to install it before I leave. I gotta say, I bought the Peragon cover from peragon.com a few months back and it was advertised as being the bee's knees. I mean, it looked slick and had a low profile that I was really digging. But, let me tell you, I ran into a few issues with the installation and alignment that just made me want to throw in the towel.

First off, the cover was giving me some serious vibration and wind noise that I just couldn't seem to fix. I talked to customer service and they gave me some suggestions, but nothing seemed to work. On top of that, the aluminum design just wasn't holding up to any weight. I mean, I bent the cover with just a little bit of weight on it.

Now, I will say that the customer service was top-notch. They were super helpful and tried to give me some options to fix the issues, but in the end, I just couldn't deal with it anymore. I ended up switching to the Diamond Back HD cover, which has been a lot more durable and doesn't give me any of the vibration or wind noise issues.

And to make matters worse, they didn't even give me any specifics on how and when I would get my money back. It's been a few weeks now and I still haven't received anything.

Overall, I would not recommend Peragon Enterprises to anyone. There are plenty of other truck bed covers out there with the same or better quality, and companies that actually care about their customers. I ended up going with a TrailFX cover and I have to say, their customer service was superior.

I had a bit of a rough time with Peragon Enterprises and their truck covers. I tried to get it installed by a couple of local companies, but they both turned me down when they found out it was a Peragon cover. Eventually, I had to go to Toyota to get it installed. The cover worked great for about a year, but then I started having some issues.

First, the plastic key-hole guard broke, which made it so I could only open the cover from the passenger side. Then, after a few months, I couldn't collapse the cover at all without the panels coming unhinged in one spot. When I called Peragon to try and get it fixed, they told me it was installed incorrectly and that I needed to redo it myself. That was frustrating, to say the least.

It's a shame, really, because the cover looks really nice and it's made in America. But after my experience, I don't think I'll be buying anything from Peragon again. It's just not worth the hassle.

To top it all off, their return policy is a joke. Sure, they give you 100 days to return it, but only if you keep the huge 8'x3x1' box and all of the other packaging. If you don't, they'll charge you $89 for another box. I mean, come on.

Honestly, I would never recommend this cover to anyone. There are much better options out there for just a few bucks more. I feel like I got ripped off, and I'm pretty bitter about it.
