Pavillions review: Return/coupon policy

I purchased a 1 lb bag of sugar from Vons in Toluca Lake on Pass Ave. On Friday, may 12 and I found a 2 lbs bag of brown sugar for the same price at Walmart soon after purchasing the sugar from vons.

I have been busy at work and I was at the Pavillions on Melrose on Wednesday May 17 picking up items for dinner. I tried to return the brown sugar since vons & pavillions are owned by the same company. The manager would not allow me to return/ exchange my 1 lb bag of brown sugar for items I was purchasing.

Ever since the lockdown pavillions does not have the same Friday deals or coupons and does not allow returns from vons. This is a hassle and I think bad business. It is the SAME parent company! Pavillions has gotten way to expensive, unaccommodating, the isles are too narrow for 2 carts to pass each other with food displays in each isle.

I will be taking my business to Ralph’s that is a little further, but more concerned with customer service and leave the isles cleared so 2 carts can pass at one time.

Also the location is becoming less desirable on Melrose and vine.
