Patrick Garcis is an Insurance Producer for Farmers' Insurance. He submitted incorrect information regarding my address, (despite the fact I had changed my address with MVC & only provided him my then-current address), applied "discounts" that I didn't request or approve (such as "renter/auto"... I never had renter insurance), all in order to give me a quote that was reasonable and within my expectations for Liability Auto Insurance in NJ, and to secure a sale by initial first-month-payment .
He collected full commission for an entire policy that, upon the correct information being entered at my request/demand, caused the rate to nearly double. Upon my demanding cancellation of this policy, Mr. Garcis & Farmers proceeded with collection action for 6 months as I argued my case & complaint against Mr. Garcis to their Consumer Solutions department.
Finally, after reviewing all of the information, my account, and my submitted evidence, the Consumer Solutions department for Farmers' removed the inaccurate over-billing from my name, and collection action was ceased, despite Mr. Garcis' lies and inaction to resolve the matter ethically.
Mr. Garcis then attempted to slander my name by suggesting to the BBB (where I had also filed a complaint) that I, myself, committed insurance fraud by "submitting my old address in order to have a lower insurance rate" {paraphrase}. This is a complete & utter false statement, and further evidence of Mr. Garcis' poor ethic. There is currently a complaint filed with BBB and NJDOBI which are being investigated and awaiting Mr. Garcis' response.

Mr. Garcis engaged in unethical to fraudulent procedures by purposefully using inaccurate information to issue me
a policy with a lower rate that was comparable to other insurance carrier quotes, He engaged in Bait & Switch tactics, ultimately causing nearly double premium amount after "corrections" were made.
Mr. Garcis caused personal information to be sent to my previous address, which exposed my then-current location/insurance, and other personal information to my estranged Ex, He refused to resolve errors, refused to reply/resolve repeated cancellation requests, and caused undue collection procedures to be taken against me for sudden dramatic increase in my One-Month coverage by (upon cancellation at my request) discontinuing "discounts" that I had not even requested nor was aware that Mr. Garcis had applied in order to provide me with a reasonable, lower insurance premium quote.
"Consumer Solutions" for Farmers' Insurance finally cancelled my policy, but because of Mr. Garcis' fraud, attempted to charge me the additional fees associated with policy changes that were made in order to correct his inaccurate submissions, and had me in collection procedures for several months.
After 6 months of communications with "Consumer Solutions", my credit was finally cleared and the account was reduced back to the correct "$0 due".
Mr. Garcis responded to my BBB complaint by slandering my name, basically accusing me in a round-about-way of insurance fraud, stating, {paraphrase} "Consumer probably provided another address presumably in order to take advantage of lower rates".
NJDOBI is investigating my claims & accusations, and reviewing the evidence I have submitted, and is awaiting his response.
Meanwhile, only he stood to gain by fraudulently entering my previous address against my knowledge, by collecting in-full the commission for the entire policy upon it's inception and receipt of my first payment.

Seriously? No, the client, myself, actualy spoke with Mr. Garcis personally informing him I had just moved and bought a new truck. My old address was ON MY DRIVER LICENSE he had me fax to him (That's how you "got the old address, Mr. Garcis). He was given the MVC change of address confirmation with the new address to be on insurance at the same time, as I had not yet received my stickers from NJ's MVC.
Yes, Mr. Garcis, I still have the fax confirmation/copy of exactly what was faxed to you that day, including the description that the NEW ADDRESS was the one which was to be on the insurance. As well, I was insuring a newly-bought vehicle that ONLY was EVER registered at the new address. This registration was faxed to Mr. Garcis as well.
He took it upon himself to either erroneously or fraudulently use the wrong/previous address.
Our first conversations included me expressing I wouldn't be using Farmers' because their prices were too high (almost double other quotes from other companies) as were quoted to me by his worker.
My BELIEF is that he baited me to be a customer by quoting me a less-expensive policy utilizing my previous address WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT to hook me into signing on as a client.
As well, after all was explained, and proof was provided, Farmers' contacted me in agreement that the policy was fraudulent, NOT due to any of my actions, and released me from any responsibility for the over-charges.
So the previous statement from Mr. Garcis is actually False.
For him to come back after such a span of time to attempt to counter this complaint at this point is rather moot. Nice of him to come lying yet again in public in an attempt to personally defame me as a client.

This comment is completely false, because there was no way for me to get the old address unless it was given to me to quote. Thus the area that was rated was obviously a better rating territory. When the address was updated to current address the premium changed. So of course its my fault the premium changed when the address changed. No Bait and Switch. This former client must have gone through some personal issue at the time and decided to take it out on me.
