I entered into a contract with this company for impact windows valued at $82,000 after a high-pressure in-home solicitation. I canceled the next day under Florida’s 3-day rescission rights. When I delivered my cancellation form, it was signed with a backdated date that could have invalidated my rights. The deposit of $5,000 was not refunded within the 10 business days required by statute, and multiple inconsistent excuses followed until an attorney’s demand triggered the refund. I later hired another contractor for about $43,000 for the same scope. I am filing this complaint to raise awareness of inflated pricing, high-pressure sales, cancellation mishandling and refund delay, which I believe target consumers especially seniors and veterans.
