Oriental Hair Solutions review: Mixed experience: consultation vs. Service delivery

I visited Oriental Hair Solutions @ Jurong Point for a trial as I’ve been dealing with hair loss for about a year. I recently started a new admin job and was exploring suitable options within my budget. The consultation itself was informative, though I found some of the explanations a bit confusing.

During the session, I felt pressured to make an immediate decision even though I had explained I needed to discuss the cost with my husband, as we share financial responsibilities. I was also encouraged to “treat myself” since I am now working, which felt pushy.

I noticed from my Tiktok research that the treatment usually ends with a proper blowout, but my hair was left messy with no brush used. I was also promised a free gift, which I did not receive, and I requested treatment details via WhatsApp but did not receive any follow-up.

The next day, I WhatsApped them to follow up as I had not received any update on the treatment details or the promised free gift, and they apologised. Although they apologised, I am proceeding to check out other places and hopefully I do not go through a similar experience.
