I just want to share about my bitter experience about this oics and from this i make sure no one will be a victim of this company..
i lost my hard earned money i lost my future i lost my confident due to mishandling of my case the guy called sachin and james have cheated me by saying false promises for arranging work permit to canada i have lost almost AED 15k, its been 5 yrs ago there is no any kind of response suddenly everything come to an end after i paid my hard earned money...
i have send somany mails i have called them more than thousand times...still i have not got the justice
i would like to lodge a complaint against this company i have got transfer payment receipt someone please help me how to punish this kind of frauds

Hey just a quick complaint about optus and its new promo Always win and enter . I just recharged and got sent my promotional code then got delayed to use it by 7 hrs then got told it had been used i spend alot on recharging and apparently im in the gold draw but how ever i win nothing but silver prizes which are txt credit inwhich i cant even use The best i won was free gig in which went so quick im left asking myself how these billion dollar companys can treat there customers like peasents it seems they do not care . I hope some day they wake up to them selves and stop ripping honest hard working people off Thanks for nothing yours sincerly Ak

One sad thing need to talk to a person in SYDNEY wich it's impossible. It's so sad been a loyal customer for many years, CAN NOT speak to any one that is willing to help you. for what ever reason. They are quike to sell you a product. but avoid to help you. Very disappointed with there customer service. Not willing to buy anything with them ever again, all my house hold was with them but soon changing that someone that can help here in SYDNEY THANKS FOR NOTHING OPTUS!
So - you didn't win a grand prize, and that's ripping you off? That's...an interesting and entitled attitude, but not a genuine complaint, it seems to me.

this is an on site email i tried to send to optus using THEIR forms.
it would not send because their supplied phone number was not valid?
your web site is usless! (i dar say intentional)
your wireless system is worse it is always droping out when changing from wcdma to hsdpa with full signal!
This is not good when you are downloading 30 emails and it redownloads because it dropped out!
But worse yet is your customer service. contacting you by phone is pointless because the kiddies or packys answering dont understand english. contact forms on the site dont work!

I want to know why when I recharge and win for my prepaid Broadband I get a prize I cant use, my win number is DSH576,
I was contacted on March 15th by Optus sales with the offer that if i agreed to a contract of 12 months, I would receive a new smart phone in 3 months. I was told Optus would contact me in June to make arrangements for delivery of this phone. Early July I contacted Optus. The deal was confirmed and I was told that there was some delay ut the phone would be delivered in July. It did not arrive so in early August I contacted the original sales person who stated that was not the deal but he would confer with his supervisor and get back to me the next day. He did not in spite of several calls on my part.

My son recently got a contract with OPTUS. Ledger of phone calls show that numbers were dialed 3 times in each minute in blocks. Has received $1700 phone bill. When I have asked the OPTUS persons, all of whom do not have Australian accents I have been given different information by 4 different operators and all of whom dispute what the last operator has said. Have spent hours, from my telstra service, trying to sort this out. For dialing a number and not getting through Cost $1.14 compared to Telstra 45c. 3 minute call with OPTUS $2.77 compared to telstra $1.37.
They all now charge by the minute and not 30 secs so if you ring and the person does not answer they just keep raking in the profit with no gain for the caller. DONT USE OPTUS, they either do not understand what you are saying or they keep giving you the run around until you give up. WHY would anyone use a service that they don’t understand. It is not cheaper! So don’t go there…

I went to Morley Optus last weekend,
Long term customer, money to spend,
On two new mobile phones - post paid,
Close to two thousand dollars, this upgrade.
“I need your number, ” the assistant said,
Into the computer this was fed.
Picked up his phone and made a call,
Then announces the following, no proof at all…
“Sixty nine dollars, 30 days overdue,
Billing’s advised, and it has to be true,
To get your new phones you must pay straight away,
A receipt they require, EFTPOS or credit’s okay.”
We pay MORLEY OPTUS (bill now paid twice),
I sign the new contracts, commit to the price,
Go home and get out the last Optus bill,
Recorded as paid, we owed them nil!
Went back on Monday to complain,
“It’s not our fault, it’s Billing’s claim, ”
“You took my money at this store, ”
“Too bad, call Billing, so don’t say any more.”
So decreed MORLEY MANAGER MAN,
Now I’m furious, truly I am!
“Cancel my contracts now” I say,
MANAGER MAN tells me “No, go away.”
Sixty nine dollars and twenty two cents,
A franchisee so incredibly dense!
MORLEY MANAGER MAN, proud, righteous and true,
Braying donkey, brains of Morley Zoo!

Optus Store - Galleria Shopping Centre Morley
I have been an OPTUS customer for over 10 years. On Saturday I went into the OPTUS Store at the GALLERIA SHOPPING CENTRE in Morley and took out two new 24 month contracts. Yesterday, I went back to the store and was treated with such contempt by the MANAGER that I will never take out another contract with OPTUS again.
The way that this MANAGER treated me yesterday has guaranteed the GALLERIA OPTUS STORE the worst public relations nightmare that I can cause. I will post negative messages about OPTUS and the GALLERIA OPTUS STORE on every forum that I can access, and tell everyone I meet now and in the future to avoid business dealings with OPTUS like the plague. We will see who has the last word now!

HUSBAND DID PLAN WITH OPTUS, GOT THE SALESMEN TO GO THROUGH WITH DIFFERANT TYPES OF MOBILE PHONES, MY HUSAND SAID HE WANTED CERTAIN FEATURES AND EASY USE. WELL WHAT A JOKE - DID NOT HAVE FEATURE HE WANTED AND NOR EASY USE. CONTACTED THEM DAY GOT PHONE AND CONTINUED TO DO AND FINALL SPOKE TO WOMEN WHOM SAID LOOK INTO AND SEE WHAT COULD BE DONE, FOLLOWED UP WITH THEM FOR OVER MONTH AND NOTHING EVER HAPPENED I SHOULD HAVE TAPE IT AS ALL I WAS DOING WAS REPEATING ISSUE OVER AND OVER TO EACH PERSON I SPOKE TO.
MY HUSBAND GAVE UP AND HAS ONLY USED THE PHONE WHEN GOING OUT, AND REVERTED BACK TO HIS OLD PHONE MOST TIMES,
LAST MONTH HE DECIDED TO GIVEN THE PHONE ANOTHER GO, WELL GUESS WHAT THE PHONE HAS PLAYED UP RUNS OUT OF CHARGE WITHIN 24 HOURS, THEN IT SHUTS DOWN AND FREEZES, THEN IN LAST FEW WEEKS HAVE TAKEN TO OPTUS TWICE WITHIN DAYS OF EACH OTHER BECAUSE THE PHONE NOT WORKING AT ALL.
HAVE LOGGED COMPLAINT WITH OPTUS TO SAY WANTED TO KEEP PLAN BUT GET PHONE REPLACED WITH TYPE OF PHONE FEATURES ORIGINALLY MENTIONED AND THAT WORKS .
HAVE NOT HEARD BACK FROM THEM, NOR STILL HAVE PHONE BACK FROM ITS 2ND REPAIR.
I was relocating my homephone (with Optus). Local calls work but I cant call mobile. Everytime I call the customer service (mentioned in the phone bill) - I was either passed around to various different disconnected departments or was being on-hold for 45min+ - Yesterday I'd like to find out how long my call finally was answered by human, and it took them 1hr 25min. Even after that long, the Optus rep (it was Mac, and then transferred to Brian) - asked me to 'hold for 30sec' and then the next thing that happened, I got transferred to main reception (with computer voice recognition to select which areas of inquiry) - at this time i had no more energy left to continue.
Optus threatns to customer to pay wrong bill and harass by sending postals with wrong bills to pay. Also Optus treaten to do legal procedure, if wrong bills arenot maid to them. I had a contract with Optus but I bound to cancel the contract after 4 months due to wrong bills Optus was sending to me. I requested manytimes (at least 40 time) to correct the bills and send but they never did. I paid all the bill for three months and then decided to break the contact. On bratki9ng the contarct Optus customer care said there will not be any penaly for cancelling the contarct as the fault is from Optus. I also returned the equipment to Optus. After 6 months optus send a wrong bill and asking to make the payment of the wrong bill and now saying that they have not received the equipment. though I have submitted the postoffice receipt through the equyipment is sent to Optus. Every day they threaten me to pay the bill through Charter Mercantile, ARL & ADR to pay this wrong bill else threans to do the legal notice. I wish to understand ...is there any forum or legal advisory board where I take this matter to resolve
ive been on an optus wireless broadband 4 a few months now and it drops out every 30 seconds why should i pay good money 2 a network that obviously dosnt have there wireless network sorta out .hope this gets though only limited time thanks 2 optus

optus immigration canada, is run purely fraud service they took from me money and promise me that they will offer me canada workpermit, since 2008 i am waiting for their reply.
I have a similar problem in Qld. even though when I signed the Agreement with Optus they advised that I would have no problem with coverage in my area - what a joke the service has got consistently worse to the extent that they have offered to terminate the contract at no charge and sign me up on cable on a new agreement for another 24 months and I when I am roaming to pay for a pre-paid wireless card!
