I have chronic pain and been treated by a pain clinic for the last 4yr. During this time I have remained faithful to Optium Rx and its service. Also my insurance has remained the same.

Recently last 2/3 months I was switched from Hydrocodone 10-325 mg to Oxycodone 7,5mg-325 with no problems.

I saw the Dr on Nov 9th she sent an order for the Oxycodone along with an Order for Gabapentin. I received the Gabapentin but not the Oxycodone.

I called and was informed the Dr wanted it to be held till the 17th which the Dr never informed me but if the Dr put that on the order so be it.

I called another time as still no Pain medication. The young gal stated it was being held due to concerns over my Klonopin which I take at night, I questioned why as that order also has been in place for the last 5yrs. I asked to talk to a supervisor or pharmacist, she said someone would call me in24/48 hrs. I never received a call. On the website it said that the problem was insurance which again has remained the same, the website changed stating it was being shipped, I never received it. I called and they said it was under review. How do I feel secure with the various facts changing and the unsafe inadequate service

Desired outcome: I would like to talk directly to the administration. I am hopeful that reviewing this incident will clearly give useful information so OPTUM RX can return to optimal service they once provided.
