I purchased a computer program which has a 7 day grace period. I decided this was not the right program for me and requested a refund. I have tried several times to make contact with the merchant Openbeat Ai. They have not even acknowledged my request. I have heard nothing. When I log into the online program as a member I notice it says I purchased this program on November 27, 2025. This is a very disingenuous purchase date. I have the purchase receipt which is for December 29, 2025, which I sent them. The request was sent Jan 1, 2026. The name of the merchant is Openbeat Ai https://openbeat.ai/ email: openbeatai@gmail.com
I think they are based out of San Diego California. The contact information is non existing and the whole thing seems rather sketchy. I'm sure there must be other consumers experiencing problems. I paid with a Canadian credit card and the curency was exchanged to an amount of $106.83 CAD, purchase was $75 USD. It's not so much the money, but the principal.
Claimed loss: $75 USD
Desired outcome: Would like the refund I am entitled to.
